The '90s Honda that Revs Faster than an F1 Car

19 000 rpm redline – 20 000 on the limiter. This CBR250RR is a gift to the motorcycle world.

Awesome metallurgy for sure!

The 250cc Japanese sportbikes in the 90s were absolutely insane.

Yes. And for fun, try reading up on the insane oval piston Honda racers back in the day. Talk about clever design and technology development!

What adventures await on the far side, one wonders.

@VCheng What is your go to motorcycle for daily commuting?

None. I generally do not commute regularly on a motorcycle. For any other rides, I will pick the one best suited to the type of ride I am going on. Usually, it ends up being the GSA these days.

Just a nice place to stop for coffee in Stowe VT:

There just happened to be an old British Car Rally going on, and it was fun to watch all the classics go by.

(Bonus points for guessing the car in the background. :D)

Would you consider using a comfortable yet feisty naked bike as a daily commuter? If you ask me, I would recommend you to at least take the Honda CB1000R Black Edition for a test drive.

A naked bike for that purpose, if I were to choose one, would probably be no more than a 3-500 cc class, for nimbleness around town rather than speed, but that is just me. :D
