US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Things are bad when you have lost the right wing nut jobs at The Atlantic...
My perspective of this article is that the neocons and Zios realize America lost this war and have begun to lay the foundation for the next Iran war, this time involving ground troops. Whether they succeed or not, we shall see. The current Iran war was decades in the making and by 2024 merely needed a fool like Trump to become President.

Across the Gulf, states are already accelerating efforts to bypass dependence on the Strait through pipelines,
pipelines are a pipe dream

look at the map of the peninsula, Oman is likely to be on board with Iran's tollbooth plan, so no exit for pipelines there, the other half is Yemen controlled by the Houthis, who could also choke the Bab al-Mandeb strait, exit of Red Sea. Always keep in mind that main buyers of gulf oil are in Asia.

- Q1 GDP growth at 2%
- March core retail sales at 1.9%, minimal inflation
- strong job growth in March and April
- record high energy exports
- 4 months of manufacturing expansion
- stocks flying

Higher fuel prices just haven’t had a significant effect on the economy. I’ll continue to monitor the economic data points as they come in. April retail sales are released this week
Lagging indicators.

BTW, record high energy exports: clearly reflected in the significantly higher cost of energy here at home.

Stop denying reality.

What right wing nut jobs? The Atlantic is a known left-leaning organization.

The current editor is an former IDF officer and one of it's main contributors is Bob Kagan (cofounder of the Project for a New American Century)

But yeah...

I wouldn’t consider March and April economic data points as lagging indicators. We’re now into April data and beyond. Those data are certainly relevant at this point.

Looks like we’re headed back to kinetic action

The most important things Trump said recently:

I am considering resuming Project Freedom, but on a broader scale that is not limited to just escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

The Iranians told us that America will have to recover "nuclear fallout" from destroyed facilities because they do not have the technology for that.
We do not currently know how we can enter Iran to proceed with the removal of nuclear fallout, and we will leave that to further negotiations.

I will meet with a large group of military leaders about Iran.

Iran's hard-line leaders will yield and I will deal with them until an agreement is reached.

Iran's surrender will definitely happen.

The ceasefire agreement with Iran is very fragile.
There is a 1% chance that the ceasefire will remain “alive”.

I am disappointed in the Kurds, whom we gave weapons to send into Iran, but they kept them.

Iran's proposal is a piece of garbage and I did not finish reading it.
We waited several days for Iran's response and it could have been ready within 10 minutes.

Iran did not commit in its letter not to possess nuclear weapons.
Iran agrees with us at first and then backs down.

The Iranians have tried to rebuild their capabilities in recent weeks.
Iran will use nuclear weapons one hour after obtaining it.
