US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

OK, let's decipher this.

Strait of Hormuz — shipping routes
  1. Iranian side: Iranian territorial waters
  2. Omani side: Omani territorial waters
  3. Central shipping route: The route runs through areas on both the Iranian and Omani sides.

Iranian claim regarding mines
  1. Iranian side — mined: Yes
  2. Omani side — mined: No
  3. Central route — Iranian side: Mined / claimed to have been mined
  4. Central route — Omani side: No

US claim regarding mines cleared
  1. Iranian side — mined: Yes / not cleared
  2. Omani side — cleared
  3. Central route — Iranian side: cleared
  4. Central route — Omani side: cleared

My interpretation:
I am of the opinion that Iran may have mined its own side of the Strait, as well as the portion of the central shipping route on the Iranian side.

If that interpretation is correct:
  1. The Iranian side remains mined.
  2. The Iranian portion of the central shipping route has been cleared.
  3. The Omani side was never mined.
  4. The Omani portion of the central shipping route was never mined.
This could explain the apparent contradiction between the Iranian and US statements.

Iran may be referring specifically to the mines on the Iranian side, while the US is referring to the Omani side and the central shipping route that it says has been cleared.
Wow we actually have come to an agreement yes and that is why ships are crossing because USN knows those routes are either not heavily mined or not mined at all

The longest gas line Ive ever seen

How come I don't have to queue at petrol stations here in the UK, yet people are queuing for petrol in an energy-exporting country like Iran? 🤔

And don't people have jobs to go to anymore in Iran? They're apparently happy to spend hours sitting in queues stretching for miles just to get petrol. 🤔

Wait—no jobs and no fuel either? 😱

For Iranians its the existential war, so they will fight to the last man, for America it can end this whenever they want, regardless of what is posted here, America is losing its standing and soft/hard power in the region. Many of its allies are suspcious of its behavior and if fear/economic snactions wasn't a factor a lot of "Allies" would've just walked away or asked American troops to simply leave.
America just wants to leave, but the Gulf monarchies are clinging onto its legs.

They think that as soon as America leaves, there'll be a lot of noise about the rebirth of the Persian Empire.

So the US says, “Okay, okay, I'll destroy Iran for you on my way out. That way, you won't have to worry about the dead Persian Empire for the next few decades.”

I could be wrong but Iran may not have sufficient refining capacity to meet its gasoline needs. Capacity expansion while under sanctions is hurting as well as key components required for gasoline may be banned.

America is not going anywhere, for as long as Israel exists Americans will keep coming to ME to die in Israel's wars like a good Goyim.
