Precisely, except that he has made a decent amount of money on Wall Street, and he’s got the gift of Gab, unlike Nikki Haley.

It will come down to if the party bosses think he will win them key votes, the way Kamala did for Biden.

Haley has a more slow and steady approach. She was a Governer, even changed her name from Nimrata to Nikki, is in an interracial marriage to a white man. The Republican Party bosses think she is more electable. Vivek is a sideshow like Andrew Yang was.

Thing is, all of this is a side game so long trump is not disqualified. And IF trump is disqualified, the game will change so drastically that all of the current alignments will become meaningless..

People are not voting on party lines really. And republican party surely does not know what to do of Trump. He never turns up in any debate and yet he is the top pick.
