Venezuelans have not experienced fair and free elections in decades. There is no democratic structure or framework in place.

Many a dictator has held sham elections and won with 110 percent votes.

With Chavez it was plenty to steal, but other people's money is not endless.

Anyway, in current situation, most Venezuelan people are happy, they have little things, but more than nothing that it was what they had years before Chavez.

Clap food assistance boxes and Cuban doctors, are better than to die of starvation or curable diseases.

In 60s Venezuela had highest GDP per capita of Latin America, and higher than several West European countries like Spain.
