Indians do not see Pakistan as the inheritor of the Indus Valley Civilisation because Pakistan accepted Islam and does not associate itself with the Indus Valley Civilisation. Keep jumping from one point to another without answering the question made. I'm denying your inference from ‘there was Steppe influence’ to ‘therefore this particular later practice came from the Steppe.’ Those aren't equivalent claims.
