Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

But this coward Abdul-Malik al-Houthi is reportedly hiding from bunker to bunker that reminds me of his 'brave' masters.

That coward is threatening Pakistan and Turkey from his hiding hole. Seriously?

This morning, the Yemeni Armed Forces' aircraft targeted the gatherings and fortifications of the Houthi militias west of Taiz

It is clear that the use of military vehicles on the ground has become very expensive for the Houthis because of the air force's targeting of any vehicle

Some of these hits look very unusual man I have to take most of everything coming out of Yemen unless recorded by a civilian with a grain of salt

Kuwaiti cabinet condemns Houthi attacks on Mecca and Medina

The Kuwaiti cabinet has strongly condemned Houthi attacks against Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The cabinet affirmed that the attacks “constitute a provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world and a dangerous escalation in violating the sanctity of Islamic holy sites”

So any confirmed attacks on those two cities or just Saudi Arabia saying they may have been targeted by attacks by Houthis so far any and all attacks have been on military bases, airbases military and dual use airports that have civilian/military, energy infrastructure and ships belonging to Saudi Arabia nearly all have visual confirmation of hits and so far in Saudi Arabia we haven’t seen any civilian or religious targets being hit

This is propaganda to assist their sectarian narrative on muslim people

And even if it is true that Houthis struck near those places, then its Saudi Arabia that puts military sites close to them so that they can activate their propaganda cells just after

Netanyahud didn't meet with UAE and Arab leaders for nothing, they learned from him a lot

Saudi Arabia itself as an important economic asset of Pakistan ought to be protected by all means..
I assume you’re going to say that its a ‘valuable asset’ for Pakistan because of the billions in bailouts it periodically hands out to Pakistan and the remmittances?

That ‘dependence’ exists solely because of the incompetence and treason of the Pakistani Fauj and its appointed puppets since inception. The policies of the Fauj have resulted in almost zero institutional development and strength, outside of the military, and even the latter is questionable at this point for various reasons.

So no, I don’t see bailouts by the GCC as any kind of ‘valuable asset’ for Pakistan - if anything, the aid/loans are a toxic bandaid that perpetuates governance failures and enriches the Fauji brass and its chosen political and bureaucratic elite.

I don't know what or how you feel about the Harmain Shrifain but a vast majority of Pakistani Muslims would sacrifice everything for protecting those two places. There are some matters that are above and beyond worldly interests or benefits.
That is not under threat.

The ruling class of Saudi Arabia and their control of Yemen via their proxy war is what is under threat.

I'm talking about KSA support of Pakistan since the inception..or you forgot the stand of Saudi Arabia when Pakistan was sanctioned..The free oil and international stand with force on the side of Pakistan..not talking about bailouts, loans or aid..

That's what you might think. I am sure a vast majority of other Muslims condemn Houthi attacks on the holy cities of Mecca and Madinah. These cursed Houthis even attacked Madinah (power grid supplying electricity to Masjid Nabawi, to be precise).

Houthis having an understanding with Israelis for letting their ships passing through Red Sea safely while targeting Saudi ships exposes the reality of your claims.

Yes, nothing wrong in doing that too. Every country tries to ensure its energy security and also designs its policies to get monetary and other benefits using its own strengths. What is wrong with that? Why to get apologetic about that?
