Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

I assume you’re going to say that its a ‘valuable asset’ for Pakistan because of the billions in bailouts it periodically hands out to Pakistan and the remmittances?
Yes, nothing wrong in doing that too. Every country tries to ensure its energy security and also designs its policies to get monetary and other benefits using its own strengths. What is wrong with that? Why to get apologetic about that?

0 proof of this

This is propaganda to assist their sectarian narrative on muslim people

And even if it is true that Houthis struck near those places, then its Saudi Arabia that puts military sites close to them so that they can activate their propaganda cells just after

Netanyahud didn't meet with UAE and Arab leaders for nothing, they learned from him a lot
I can agree to this post for sure

That ‘dependence’ exists solely because of the incompetence and treason of the Pakistani Fauj and its appointed puppets since inception. The policies of the Fauj have resulted in almost zero institutional development and strength, outside of the military, and even the latter is questionable at this point for various reasons.

So no, I don’t see bailouts by the GCC as any kind of ‘valuable asset’ for Pakistan - if anything, the aid/loans are a toxic bandaid that perpetuates governance failures and enriches the Fauji brass and its chosen political and bureaucratic elite.
Nothing is free in this world when i am given something in life i have to return it in kind as quickly as possible or i will have someone knocking on my door for favors later

That is not under threat.

The ruling class of Saudi Arabia and their control of Yemen via their proxy war is what is under threat.

This guy reminds me about Ibrahim Naji the houthi propaganda guy element who talks tough game. He was so tough talking saying like we will take Asir and Abha when they get little momentum but after he realized the houthi fronts are collapsing he changed his tone to everyone is pounding the worlds most impoverished country etc etc crying for help..

He changed energy within a day.

Even that mouthpiece Al-Baktouhi who was threatening Turkey and Pakistan in the last 3 days went yesterday very soft asking for dialogue and understanding between brothers hahahahaha

If you are planning a major ground offensive, then ammunition and supplies won't be delivered by transports, but ships? While an IL-76 is large, it is not the best way to carry munitions to a combat theatre at scale(imho). It is possible for precision systems like SOW via large transports and other high end equipment, but not really for artillery shell etc.
Everything is used. Transport on ships takes days and weeks. Via air transport, only hours. One IL-76 can move enough ammunition in one sortie.

Correct, this goes for everyone. When Iran does something for the Houthis, it expects reciprocity. The same goes for any other alliances.

You left out millions of our brethren who earn their roti, kapra aur makan from Saudi Arabia and generate billions in forex for Pakistan. So it is not all bail-outs. Actual bail-outs are dwarfed by the forex repatriated home by these Pakistanis in KSA.

You know where I stand on the other points in your post.

Given the large territory of both KSA and areas controlled by Houthis, it will be difficult to stop every BM or drone to intercept by KSA even with combine AD from Pakistan-Turkiye, I mean just look at the Iran situation, despite America/Israel bombing the holy hell out of Iran, Iran still manage to launch few drones in response. Its impossible to track and takeout every 2-3 people team which can track and hide in mountains with few drones with them and launch towards the target, Terrain plays a big role and its one of the reason why Iran survives, Houthis surviving and so are TTP/BLA...

I mean compared to the beginning of the war a lot less but agree a lot less than later on but i dont think Iran was going to stage large waves like they in the beginning of the war they would have been sitting ducks hit and run tactics definitely worked smaller numbers were sent but a lot more hits same with the missiles(especially the missiles at the height of the war)
