Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

The real anguish, perhaps, lies in witnessing the decline of an ancient fire-worshipping tradition and the prospect of its eventual extinction—a worldview whose rituals and beliefs may seem deeply disconnected from modern rational thought.

Its historical decline, cultural significance, and the question of whether its beliefs are nonsensical, are separate matters. A tradition can lose followers without its entire history or cultural legacy becoming meaningless, but some are hell bent upon escalating the inevitable.

All religions who get empowered by the State or Clergy face similar challenges. It's a natural thing and elements of messianism are placed to counter such theories of eternal decline and plunge into the abyss.

Its quite interesting how Year Zero is perceived in different cultures and traditions.

Well arabs were got conquered as well (before and after islam), works both ways. Look al-bakstan bro, we're not shia only, we are also nationalists and first of all Iranians. If religion is weaponized against Iran, we'll weaponize religion against the enemy and strike the enemy back with all our power. Come on now? dont be surprised, i'll buy you a mic so that you warn fellow muzzlims and al-baks who think like you ok?

Oh rest assured my farsi friend, I am under no delusion when it comes to faris and its designs. I had understood all you are saying a long time ago, my only problem with persia, why lie about it and hide it. Be honest now, there is no pride in using Taqiya. You want to reclaim your empire come claim it like men, or farsi mothers have stopped giving birth to rustams anymore?

Arabs conquered, expanded, introduced Islam to many regions and people, yes they saw their downfall but do you see them claiming 2.2 million sqm again and reestablish Arab empire again?

As far as weaponizing religion against faris goes, persians have been doing it for centuries, nothing new there.

Tried to corrupt Islam and ended up owning a religion that is neither pure Zoroastrian nor pure Islam. Strange case of losing ones own identity and using conqueror's religion to regain that identity.

Dhobi ka kutta, na ghar ka, na ghat ka?

saudis can't even defeat malnourished Yemenis, how do they want to defeat Iran (although they supported uS attacks against Iran)? saudis should be grateful israel and uS are supporting them else Yemen would easily liberate riyadh, and no, al-bakstan and al-turkey can't save ale-saud.

I really hope you guys give the Saudis the credit for this war when or if the Houthis are defeated....... Because these Saudi bastards never really fought in this war... This is also slightly disrespect towards the gallant Yemeni fighters fighting on the frontlines.

This is hilarious I swear forget politics this is hilarious because whenever I go to X or anywhere on social media the anti-houthi forces is labelled Saudis and lmao some famous english speaking youtubers are even saying the houthi are fighting the saudis in conventional war because they bought into the spam incorrect tweets.

This war is so messed up when it comes to informations. There is so much disformation.

This is the Anti-houthi camp and they are different division and entites allied in this anti-houthi operation..

That's a fact. There was a deep cultural, ethnical intertwining (Iran, Pakistan, Central Asia).
pulling crap out of your rear, does not equate to "facts".

Over the past five decades, what passes for logic in your loony bin seems to have become an exercise in inversion. Contradictions are presented as truths, decline / defeat is repackaged as triumph, and carefully manufactured appearances are mistaken for reality.

When the narrative matters more than the evidence, reason becomes a casualty of propaganda.

All this has to come to some conclusion eventually. All this division, confusion and sectarianism cannot continue. Faris needs to claim its clear identity first, better go back to old ways and grow from there, instead being forced to follow fatwas of ayatullahs.

Stop flame baiting.

Iran is Pakistans neighbor. Arabs aren't your neighbors, neither they will be, nor will they consider you anything above a sub human. Iran is will always be closer to us genetically, culturally, linguistically than Arabs ever would be.

Except China ( with which our land connection is shoddy anw ), we have a beef with all of our neighbors. Time to realize we aren't a foreign colony anymore.
What an incredibly gross and racist generalization. If you ask the general Arab public who do you admire and respect more, the Gulfies or the Pakistanis, you'd be shocked how many would overwhelmingly choose the Pakistanis.

You have zero idea of what the Arabs actually think.

Turkey and Indonesia plus Malaysia should take the lead in making peace between Saudi Arabia and Houthis. We should concentrate against the common enemies, the Zionists and the Crusaders. @Indos

Who is asim munir to warn Iran? it's just some coup general in Pakistan no? come on bro? we're busy fighting US-Israel-Nato-arbis. Bro al-mutta was approved by al-prophet himself, so don't enter religious topics here. You have more jokes? nawaz sharif will deliver next warning?
Are you @Lulldapull in disguise?

Nobody's doubting any of that at all. However, despite this, Tehran has chosen a poor strategy and, believe it or not, KSA is the one that has recently tried to be sensible. I suppose we will all have to wait and see what transpires from this once in a lifetime clusterfk.

However, Pakistan is engaged in an active war with Talibs as we speak, not to mention the threat at the eastern border. The timing of this Houthi escalation, stupidly encouraged by Tehran, seems to coincide neatly with a more far reaching plot, hence, we may not be able to "wait and see".

I don't need to remind you or anyone else here that the events of late Spring 2025 that embroiled both Iran and Pakistan in seemingly separate conflagrations also seemed to be convergent with regards to their timing.
