Nobody's doubting any of that at all. However, despite this, Tehran has chosen a poor strategy and, believe it or not, KSA is the one that has recently tried to be sensible. I suppose we will all have to wait and see what transpires from this once in a lifetime clusterfk.
However, Pakistan is engaged in an active war with Talibs as we speak, not to mention the threat at the eastern border. The timing of this Houthi escalation, stupidly encouraged by Tehran, seems to coincide neatly with a more far reaching plot, hence, we may not be able to "wait and see".
I don't need to remind you or anyone else here that the events of late Spring 2025 that embroiled both Iran and Pakistan in seemingly separate conflagrations also seemed to be convergent with regards to their timing.
