Depending on your mood you have no qualms in alternating your direction from Makkah to qoum .
That's a very superficial observation.

KSA is a hostile entity to Iran. It hosts a massive number of American and western sensor systems, GBAD network and offensive systems. Haven't we seen how they were used to either attack Iran or track and shoot down Iranian projectiles headed to Israel during TP 1 & 2 Ops.Nobody's doubting any of that at all. However, despite this, Tehran has chosen a poor strategy and, believe it or not, KSA is the one that has recently tried to be sensible. I suppose we will all have to wait and see what transpires from this once in a lifetime clusterfk.
However, Pakistan is engaged in an active war with Talibs as we speak, not to mention the threat at the eastern border. The timing of this Houthi escalation, stupidly encouraged by Tehran, seems to coincide neatly with a more far reaching plot, hence, we may not be able to "wait and see".
I don't need to remind you or anyone else here that the events of late Spring 2025 that embroiled both Iran and Pakistan in seemingly separate conflagrations also seemed to be convergent with regards to their timing.
Well, reading between the lines here, Pakistan should simply treat each cycle of events on its own merits, which I agree with, as do most on this thread I would imagine. This is the essence of international diplomacy. I think Pakistan is getting it right for the time being. Certainly, facilitating the destruction of functioning nation states is sheer lunacy, playing right into the hands of Tel Aviv.KSA is a hostile entity to Iran. Afghanistan hosts TTP and all us Pakistanis have a blood feud with Afghanistan. Why not give Iran the same courtesy? I understand Pakistan has to take into account of it's massive remmitance income from GCC but blind sided support to KSA is destructive as Iran neighbors us not KSA. But I'm pretty sure that isn't the case.
And yes that Irani strike into Pakistan was genuine dick move and I'm glad we gave them a sound punch.
myopic "tribesmen" and their noble klashnikovs.
Okay but “Treat each cycle on merits” is exactly what I’m doing. On merits, KSA is a Pakistani ally who hosts US/Western ISR, GBAD and offensive systems pointed at Iran. Whether Riyadh pulls the trigger or not, that makes it a node in a network used against Iran and in support of Israel ( TP1 and 2 operations ). Pakistan can keep the relationship and the remittances, but let’s not pretend hosting those capabilities by KSA is strategically neutral. Its fully in alliance with US & Israel. And Iran being our neighbor, we cannot and should not support jumping completely in bed with the Aal e Saud.Well, reading between the lines here, Pakistan should simply treat each cycle of events on its own merits, which I agree with, as do most on this thread I would imagine. Let me put it another way - would Israel actually be happy to have every nation in the region reduced to cave dwelling klashnikov wielders (Houthis, Talibs etc) scrapping with each other or within their own houses perpetually (take a look at Syria for another case in point)?
When Iran is sensible, we should support them. When Saudia is sensible, we should support them! Only two nations in our region are deemed "incorrigible" - no prizes for guessing them.
What Israel fears the most is a unified and peaceful, fully self sustaining empire on its borders.
But never even mind Israel. Why shouldn't an empire be forged from this region to rival any other on the planet? The Mecca Agreement remains the best single step that any of the regional nations have taken in decades and I would say that even if Pakistan were not part of it (while hoping they would quickly sign up of course) . I genuinely hope it is not scuppered by these myopic "tribesmen" and their noble klashnikovs.
