The Family does not speak Punjabi. In Lahore there are a lot of Urdu speaking Punjabis, especially those who migrated from East Punjab and what is now Haryana.

The problem is that you are confusing him with UP/Delhi/Karachi wala Urdu speaking. There are a lot of old families in Punjab especially Lahore, who are dual Urdu Punjabi speaker or don’t speak Punjabi at all. Remember Lahore was an is the center of Urdu literature and poetry. I can assure you that IK family speaks neither Punjabi or Pashtu.

Imran Khan was/is and will always be wrong on his approach to the Afghan problem, as was also GHQ/ISI who were also wrong on their approach also ( even more wrong given the whole Taliban strategy was owned by GHQ/ISI ).

The correct approach is to understand that the Afghan nation can never be put back together again ever as a civilised nation, it is permanently broken. The correct approach is to send ALL afghans back to their country. Then it is to BUILD the BIGGEST mother of all walls possible and never let them ever cross into Pakistan again like the Chinese did with the rampaging hoards from the north with the great wall.. Then FORGET all dreams of accessing CAS states via this sh*t hole, and build on existing flows via Iran, and China and just accept that as the final reality.

( Also, I do think Pakistan needs to close its airspace to all Afghan origin airlines ), make them fly via Iran to India ... ...

I can't blame him because just in case I had a little bit of delusion that Pakistan and Bangladesh can reunite, Imran Khan blew all those delusions away.
