Absolutely no incentive for France now, Rafale order book is full till they start on next gen FCAS.

They also know India's options are limited. They will put Rafale on table with no ToT, name their price and that is the end of it....

Exactly my point, France (like it has done in the past) can simpky refuse Indian requests.

This deal may not even see the light of day.....

Under investigation, the Tejas fighter jet suffered severe damage during landing after a routine sortie, though the pilot ejected safely. Following the accident, the Indian Air Force has grounded its entire fleet of around 30 single-seat Tejas jets to carry out an intensive technical probe.

It could be a repeat of the same old story: for name sake, they make India a junior partner in the FCAS, offering the jet with no critical Transfer of Technology (ToT). Instead, they might just provide some local parts manufacturing or assembly via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits, name their price, and leave it at that.
