Every airforce has own requirements - for example For paf, jf17 fighter has important role but Chinese airforce does not need the aircraft because as per their requirement, it doesn't fit it.

Similar way - indian and Russian requirements are different, Russian can't get western technology integrated with their Aircrafts, but Indian Air force can do it, when India will do, mainly they will go with mix systems including indian, Russian and western.so basically Russian do inhouse with upgrade as they did with su30 Sm2.

India just need to upgrade it with new radar, awacs , sensors, coating with reduse radar signature and add such missile with long range - it will be a very impactful Aircraft.

It is already providing many advantages like can carry numbeors weapons systems including brahmos and long range missiles.

NExt coming decades mainly Rafale, Su30 mki (upgraded), Tejas and possible 5th generation fighter from Russia will be protecting the sky... Until new aircrafts come after 2035.

They see you as a lower form of human life.

It's kind of like how the Parsis of India feel about the rest of you. They try to be nice with you, for materialistic reasons, but only a fool would mistake that for respect.
