A number of posters on the forum want China to attack or confront Taiwan militarily to draw in US army in order to "save" or relieve the tension of Iran in the Mideast. That's really unrealistic, I don't think China considers Iran or Venezuela as before is more important than Taiwan to China. Taiwan is a core of core interests to China. China doesn't want to see Taiwan destroyed or damaged seriously and their brothers and sisters on the island bleed badly. Previous Chinese military drills around Taiwan were just to pressure the separatist gov to keep Taiwan from drifting to separation. It’s not that China refuses to cooperate militarily with Iran, but rather that Iran chooses self-reliance.
As for the ongoing wars, what can China actually do? As long as China holds massive amounts of U.S. debt and dollar reserves, a direct military conflict with the United States remains an impossibility.
