Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran can do the funny thing... Iran should insist that PAF should go into pact with Iran like they did with Saudia so that after 15 days iF israil and US comes to attack, PAF will defend Iran haha..

Pakistan should play dumb here let them deal their on own.. Damn we do, damn we not.
Do you really think we can play dumb here for long?

To all my Pakistani brothers, let's be honest here. The only reason you think this ceasefire is a good deal is because your country is involved in this. No problem I would maybe feel the same as you. But from an Iranian POV I don't understand how you can take this. Please put yourself in our shoes.

Are you in Iran right now and willing to let your civilian infra be destroyed?

That's because the Chinese are seeing The Americans undermine their own power at no cost to China, plus Chinese ships pass through just fine.

Meanwhile Pakistan is facing rising costs and will have to incur economic consequences.

China is suffering big time too of energy Hormuz Straits is closed , 100 tankers to maybe 5 reaching China.

You really need to get off your high horse. Ofcoarse Pakistan has deep self interest in this war stopping but so has every other country in the world. Yet who else is working this hard to get both sides to agree to some sort of compromise? The compromise will not be ideal for either side but that is always the case, that’s why it’s called a compromise. Both sides have their demand list but how realistic are they! Mock Pakistan all you want, but if they somehow succeed how many innocent Iranian lives will they have saved aside from the billions in infrastructure damage? That is what you consistently mock? On a final point, given Iran’s historic closeness to India including aiding Indian terror activities in Pakistan via Iran, Pakistan didn’t owe shit to Iran. Throwing their full support behind UAE and Saudi Arabia instead would probably have been very lucrative but did they? which makes their efforts even more commendable. Meanwhile what are your Indian buddies doing to help you? Don’t be the drowning man who strikes out at the sole hand trying to help him.
I have already answered in detail why this "compromise" does not work for Iran:

Read that again, you will find everything you need to know about my opinion there.

There has been no historic closeness to India. Stop writing nonsense. You actually do owe us a lot as Iran under the late Shah sent you our helicopters to help you fight against India in the 13-day conflict in 1971, besides tons of food and other humanitarian aids. I didn't want to bring it up, but yes, YOU DO OWE US FOR OUR CONSTANT SUPPORT. Also, Iran has been one of the few countries vocal on the issue of Kashmir.

We helped you militarily and directly both in 1965 and 1971:

Even now, Pakistan is one of the countries that is being allowed safe passage at a discount by the IRGC. If you throw your full support behind the UAE and KSA, you will be denied that passage.

I am not supporting this because its from Pakistan, I am supporting this because lives of millions of people are hanging by a thread tonight ... and either evreyone (that includes US) either swallow our pride and stop this all here or we can go down a path that nobody can predict from here on.

I feel this is a good deal because if this chance does not work then there is no way back at all. Right now Iran can leave at a power of position, having given concessions. Tomorrow can turn out to be terrible for everyone involved. Lives of any child, any woman, any adult, if saved tomorrow, is worth more than any war that can go either way in the future.

I’m starting to think Pakistan might be working for the Saudis and trump two weeks is probably more than enough time to regroup and rearm and bring more soldierss into the region if that offends anyone not trying to bubuwithout any ironclad guarantees it’s just going to give Trump and Israel more time to find out how to takeout Irans offensive capabilities and I don’t see Russia or china coming to the rescue with weapons or troops he’ll not even North Korea

It is as if Pakistan's good will and previous statements ultimately does not mean much, I understand the stakes are high but so are the costs.

You do realize that to remain as an interlocutor you have to have good offices with all relevant parties and sometimes you need to signal to them that you are getting their message across as well, talk about a thankless task, in this context

What about all of the previous statements made in favor of Iran before?

Also if there is a ceasefire and the Americans or the israelis look as if they are breaking it then Iran would be entitled to continue to retaliate, Pakistan is trying to broker an agreement, they are obviously in no capacity enforcing anything, so the aim is to come up with just some formulation that allows a lasting peace.

Just some formulation that works, that is it

I think Pakistanis are being tremendously goodwilled that perhaps you should allow yourself to accept this.

The S&P 500 erases all losses and turns green on the day as Pakistan asks President Trump to extend his 8 PM deadline by 2 weeks.
The S&P 500, or Standard & Poor's 500 Index, is a stock market index tracking the performance of 500 of the largest publicly traded companies in the United States.

It's literally getting the most favorable treatment, so in terms of relative advantage it is very very content

Any news

Will there be cess fire or war will go on?

Thank god some users have IQ’s above room temperature here.

Correct.

Iran opening the strait:

  • Drops oil prices and helps Trump and removes key Iranian leverage over global economy
  • Gets oil and LNG to countries that support Israel and U.S. (Europe, Argentina, Japan, South Korea, etc)
  • Allows Israel/US to reposition its air defenses and radars from satellite imagery and get additional assets in place
Iran gets:
  • 2 weeks of time to ultimately be asked to surrender or get bombed again

And several Pakistan users on here think this is a “fair” deal.
2 weeks of ceasefire is not at all fair deal for Iran, it only helps US/Israel, and at best, it only delays Iran's supposed destruction by 2 weeks.

Destruction of two drones in the sky of Hormozgan: Public relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps: A Lucas drone and a reconnaissance drone were intercepted and destroyed in the skies of Hormozgan by the IRGC's modern air defense system under the control of the country's integrated air defense network.

Pakistan users here who support the proposed deal only because it came out of the mouth of the Pakistan’s PM.

If Modi of India had delivered such a proposal they would be screaming how bad such a deal is and that India and Israel will stab you in the back.
Well we all agree about israel, the indians have already stabbed you in the back, and they're meant to you be your friends. We want to stop Iranians being killed, if you think that's backstabbing, can't help you with that. We'd equally like to see you keep fighting the Americans and israelis, but don't want to see Iranians being hurt.
