PAF J-10CE News Updates and Discussions part ll

The J‑10C is the only platform that makes immediate sense for Pakistan right now, which is why its induction is both necessary and imminent. The Pakistan Air Force requires at least four full squadrons to stabilize its force structure over the next decade.

The J‑35A remains three to four years away from export maturity, while the KAAN (under the PFX timeline) is realistically six to eight years out. As for Turkish F‑16 Block 30/40 aircraft, any transfer would require U.S. Congressional approval, which remains highly unlikely. The United States does have roughly 45 surplus F‑16s (Block 25/30/40/42), but these would only become available between 2028 and 2030.

Meanwhile, India has already signed a $40‑billion Rafale package and is acquiring 18–20 additional fly‑away aircraft to replace the unit lost during the 2025 engagement with Pakistan.

Any deal for 30/40/50 aircraft is unlikely as those have GE engines whilst PAF fleet is exclusively PW. PAF wont be very willing to negotiate a sperate maintenance deal for them if theyre gonna be limited service life

F-16 saga is over. USA has not lifted the arms embargo since 2016. That's 10 years already.

Israel with it's unmatched and unparalleled intelligence network as witnessed in Iran and Lebanon will sabotage any nuke launches even if and it is a big if, the whole GHQ high command is not already on their payroll, before they even lift off is the most likely outcome. Secondly their second strike capability will wipe out most of Pakistan if our duffers are brave and lucky enough to land a few nuclear blows into Israel.

I’ve said this many times before, Pakistan’s generals tend to be extremely pragmatic. They operate within the expectations set by the powers they rely on, fulfill the roles assigned to them, and eventually settle into comfortable post‑retirement lives abroad, and usually in the US, UK, or Australia. Many analysts argue that the idea of a Pakistan–Saudi defense framework was originally shaped in Washington, with the broader goal of nudging Pakistan toward the Abraham Accords under Saudi supervision and increasing pressure on Iran.

According to some observers, there’s also a narrative circulating that if Pakistan were to offer the United States a permanent military presence on its soil, Washington might consider easing restrictions and allowing Pakistan access to more advanced defence equipment. China, however, is reportedly wary of this possibility because of its deep investments and strategic footprint in Pakistan.

isn't it about time this thread was made a sticky?

Also please edit the first post of this thread to include a link to the locked J-10C thread Part 1 .

Come to think of it, the J-35AE thread should be a sticky now too.
