US State Department announces new sanctions on ‘Iran-China oil trade’​


The US State Department has announced new sanctions on ‘Iran-China oil trade’, Al Jazeera reports.

In a statement, it said that the sanctions applied to “several entities, an individual, and a vessel involved in the trade of Iranian petroleum, petroleum products, and petrochemical products”.

The sanctions target Qingdao Haiye Oil Terminal Co, Ltd, a China-based petroleum terminal operator that the State Department said “has imported tens of millions of barrels” of crude oil under unilateral US sanctions.

“Haiye has enabled the flow of billions of dollars to Tehran that has relied on sophisticated evasion schemes, accepting cargo from vessels conducting illicit ship-to-ship transfers with sanctioned vessels,” the State Department said.

Israel is an R&D "powerhouse" because massive US aid especially in their tech industry, preferential loans, lots of benefits. Zionist oligarchs financially support Israel.

Seems like it was agreed between the US and Pakistan, I don't think Pakistan would have allowed it without US approval, otherwise it would place them in the bad books of Trump.

It is one thing to ask people to leave your country(which, lets not kid ourselves is within their right), it is another to make this a "shia-sunni" thing, but to also ROB THEM ON THE WAY OUT is the height of disgust and shame, truly...

UAE has no business being a financial services hub if you are going to rob people like that. Shameful, disgusting and the sooner UAE's control like this comes to an end, the better. Turkieye and Saudi should absolutely take the UAE's financial services hub from them with this kind of behaviour.

Following the Shia as a religion is not a frigging crime...

I am glad that Pakistan has always resisted this division of the country along those lines.

I would not automatically use such words for any Indian. Her story is good for Pakistanis as the cowardly Pakistani media and govt has been silent on this issue.

Around 10 or 12 years back Saudi Arabia also deported a big wave of Pakistani workers for some reason and many of them were not even paid their earned wages. The beghairat Pakistani govt was silent at that time too.

We can continue this discussion in a more appropriate thread.
