PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

India has the raw numbers advantage.

India doesn't need to win the air battles to win the war, they just need to be able to contest and cause damage, which theyre capable of doing just through attrition.

In an ALL OUT WAR, 40 J-35s is not going to cut it.

Let's be honest, despite Pakistan coming out on top in May, India still currently has the more advanced fleet. As the Russia-Ukraine war has shown, with enough time passing, the Indian Air force will learn to deal with Pakistani fighters, and they'll use attrition to learn, something Pakistan cannot afford, but India can.
That's when you escalate to nuclear strikes. Use it or lose it will come into play. The war of attrition led to development of nukes.

I agree with your view. Data on Chinese weapons is classified, and the parameters of active equipment are not publicly disclosed.

The data at air shows may also be false. Here is the evidence.

What the Max Range means is that under any circumstance, PL-15E has at least 145 km range. The video explains Chinese practices and conventions on the Chinese weapons sepcs well.

It was just purposely to fool those Indians.

The PL-15 received by Pakistan has a legitimate 200 km no-escapable range.

The Indian rafale pilots cannot believe that they got shot down easily in 200 km.

The fragment of PL-15 shows its production date as July 2015. There was no PL-15E in 2015.

So perhaps the range of PL-15E is indeed 145km, but what Pakistan has obtained is not PL-15E, but PL-15.

Agree(!) - this logically shows that PAF has a stock of the full version PL15s.

Good points. As such, next gen super-sonic stealthy KEs - armed with AESA, links, EW, BVRs, CMs etc. - in CCA mode can come quite handy. According to Selchuk Bayraktar, he can produce 20 KEs for the lifetime cost of a single F-16....

Claiming that Pakistani pilots were apotted training on J35.. not sure how reliable this channel is.

And on another note, we dont see Indians contributing that much on this forum anymore

Forgive my ignorance but What is KE?

Who says that Pakistan cannot produce inexpensive loitering munitions i.e. "kamikaze" or one-way attack drones? Pakistan has already embraced the Shahed doctrine by building its own family of cheap, swarming, one-way attack drones.

Pakistan doesn't require any assistance for the production of such cheap and low tech drones.
And, distributing production facilities all over Pakistan....
