Su 57 makes it a lot easier for PAF to manage.

It will be the Su30 MKI (raptor of east, mini AWACS) saga again. India will tie their funds and manpower into an unproven and frankly, really not a LO aircraft. Maintenance and operations nightmare considering Russian supply chain and support and above all, all hosh posh stiched together when it comes to network centric operations. French Rafales and SU57.

Good luck getting the two to give you enough flexibility where one aircraft knows what the other is doing.

But of course, in its desperation to prove SU57 is the best 5th Gen, india will go for it because in reality they have no other choice.

PAF can simple procure the next gen package KJ500 + J35 and have their JF17 and J-10CEs plug into as well.
The Su-57D will definitely be used together with the S-70 drone, just like the J-20S will be paired with the GJ-11. The S-70 has obvious stealth characteristics. Don't underestimate it.

yea and the russians can produce like 3 of them.

industries were already struggling previously, with the war, they get cooked even more, sanctions are killing off their usual revenue streams and now they're desperate for a lifeline via an export deal, like india.

could actually see the collapse of the russian aviation production industry in our lifetimes

The Su-57D is clearly a customized version for India and is not suitable for Russia with its vast land area. Therefore, Russia is very likely to transfer production lines and technology, and may even open up some of the source code. We should not underestimate the enemy.

We need to pay more attention to the fact that the Su-57D cannot be developed in a short period of time, and Russia and India must have decided long ago to use the Su-57D + S-70 to counter the J-35. We also need to be vigilant about the depth of cooperation between Russia and India.

btw: "Loyal Wingman"is the most important feature of the 5.5G fighter jet, representing a new combat mode of "manned fighter command, unmanned aerial vehicle breakthrough defense". The positioning of S-70 is similar to GJ-11, FH-97A, XQ-58A, MQ-28A.

They did just roll out the C-295 - not knowing how much was actually ToTd I reckon with their MKi experience and if Russians get against the wall you could see a felon mki line created.
