Many times, I'm unsure how to deal with the behavior of some Pakistani friends, like you.
Here are some very simple questions:
1. Russia itself is currently riddled with holes from Ukrainian bombing and suffers from a severe shortage of various types of air defense systems. There are even many voices within Russia urging the government to exchange oil for weapons from China. The production capacity of Russia's domestic military industry is severely insufficient to meet the army's needs. Under these circumstances, how can it deliver weapons to Afghanistan?
2. Afghanistan is extremely poor. Where would it get the money to purchase expensive air defense systems from abroad? Its domestic security environment and level of openness are also very poor, making it difficult for foreign investment to enter. The path of exchanging mineral resources for weapons is not feasible. Currently, foreign investment in large mining areas in Afghanistan is basically stagnant or extremely slow.
3. As for the issue of Pakistan, this issue cannot be discussed in depth here.
These are some very simple questions.
Between nations, at any time, it is not a simple binary opposition. Essentially, it's a balance between costs and benefits. On the surface, there's morality and righteousness; behind the scenes, it's all about transactions!
If you can't see through this, yet you actively discuss political topics, then you will always be a pawn manipulated by others.
