No, France is NOT behind India and the Rafale is NOT the less capable fighter nor is the Rafale‘s AESA less capable than the UTTAm only since it uses GaN technology! 🤡

As a big fan of the Rafale's SPECTRA system and the 13 India-specific enhancements, I believe these upgrades make the fighter jet more versatile and well-suited to Indian conditions.

Rafales are excellent aircraft, which is why India is willing to pay $300 million per unit. Rafale and Eurofighter were shortlisted by the IAF in the Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) competition after a thorough evaluation.
Indian Air Force rejected F-16, calling it obsolete and outdated in the same MMRCA competition. Despite being the cheapest fighter jet in the MMRCA, F-16 was the first to be dropped.

The 41st Tejas MK1A will be equipped with the UTTAM AESA Radar. Radars are becoming increasingly important as the Radar Cross Section (RCS) of fighter jets decreases.

MBDA won’t deny integrating meteor with Tejas but they will share source code only when India makes a bulk order for missiles
 
I don't understand some indian and turkish fools logic that in future we are going to get this great thing which we think will be better than current existing and tried & tested thing so right now we are better than that existing thing.

But Tejas MK1A is not in future it’s under mass production
