How many countries, apart from India, the USA, and the European Union, have GaN AESA radar technology? I believe France doesn't have it because Rafales don't use GaN AESA radars. GaN radar has a detection range that is double that of GaAs radar, clear advantage over GaAs radar.

Oh not here again posting this BS after your ban on the SDF!

No, France is NOT behind India and the Rafale is NOT the less capable fighter nor is the Rafale‘s AESA less capable than the UTTAm only since it uses GaN technology! 🤡

As a big fan of the Rafale's SPECTRA system and the 13 India-specific enhancements, I believe these upgrades make the fighter jet more versatile and well-suited to Indian conditions.

Rafales are excellent aircraft, which is why India is willing to pay $300 million per unit. Rafale and Eurofighter were shortlisted by the IAF in the Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) competition after a thorough evaluation.
Indian Air Force rejected F-16, calling it obsolete and outdated in the same MMRCA competition. Despite being the cheapest fighter jet in the MMRCA, F-16 was the first to be dropped.

From what I have read, GaN based radar is not ready for Tejas and will be there on Mk2. Do you have any link for it being installed on Mk1A.
The 41st Tejas MK1A will be equipped with the UTTAM AESA Radar. Radars are becoming increasingly important as the Radar Cross Section (RCS) of fighter jets decreases.

Yes. But will it have GaN.

Meteor is not a french missile ! it is a european one, mainly paid by GB, so the key is GB top brass, not french one.
I don't know if one MBDA member can stop a sale.

Yes, any one member of the consortium can block a sale.

As long as it has Israeli radar it cannot fire meteor but with UTTAM Radar it can fire all kind of weapons from any country Except China

No, as stated, you need permission and do the integration work. No gurantees of success of either of these, but then when has that stopped Indian boasting....

MBDA won’t deny integrating meteor with Tejas but they will share source code only when India makes a bulk order for missiles

I don't understand some indian and turkish fools logic that in future we are going to get this great thing which we think will be better than current existing and tried & tested thing so right now we are better than that existing thing.
