Turkish Helicopter Programs

You are ignoring 2 situations here. 1- A second ship is on the way.
That's going to be an aircraft carrier, not an LHD. We don't need another LHD.

I question the need for a 285 meter STOBAR AC too but that's another discussion.

Attack helicopters are also deployed on aircraft carriers when necessary. If I know our people at all, they would definitely deploy. :) Apart from the aircraft carrier, a second LHD is also being discussed.

I'm sorry but this is an idiotic notion. If we do this it means we don't know how to operate aircraft carriers at all.

Second LHD for fucking what? We protect it with what? For what reason?

We don't know how to operate that type of ships anyway. ;) That's why I'm sure they will deploy attack helicopters! LOL

What will happen next? The second LHD discussed will be produced and the helicopters will go where they belong. This is how things work for us, and you know it. I'm sure of that.

I'm hoping for a less retarded course of action.

I hope the decision makers have the correct number of chromosomes

Three T-929 will be delivered to TLFC in 2025.

When customer lists a need for 10+t, there will be no more than a handful of address to turn to. Helis competing here will have features for requirements they are designed.

ATAK-2 will stand out with advanced sensor such as DIRCM, MMW, HETS, EW, FLIR and drone-heli operation

... my enthusiastic friend again deliberately omits to mention, that the T929 at the moment is nothing more than a demonstrator; not even a prototype! So to chose from four is a bit of an exaggeration since it surely won't be ready for export in 2025! And the Chinese Z-21 is also far from ready.

by the way, why is the Ka-50/52 missing in that list?

Maybe he means sources both the KA-52 and Mi-28 made by the same country.

Article says when customer lists a need for 10+t, there will be no more than a handful of address to turn and T-929 is one of them

1 -- Turkiye has already Helicopter technology via T-129 and T-625
and 3 T-929 will be delivered to the Turkish Army in 2025
so T-929 is not a dream or not a paper project

2 -- HURJET joined tender in Malaysia even before taking its first flight
According to TAI many Countries interested in T-929 Attack Helicopter

so nobody says T-929 will be ready for export in 2025 .... They can buy T-929 for near future
and T-929 can join tender against American and Russian opponents

Turkiye can offer even technology transfer .....

btw Its not my list
I know that KA-52 is a heavy Attack Helicopter

Russia : MI-28 and KA-52
USA: AH-64 Apache
Turkiye : T-929
China : Z-21

Other Countries dont have 10+ tons heavy Attack Helicopter
not even a project

No-one said it is a paper project, but you must admit, it is far from being ready for service or even more on offer to an export customer. As such, at least for several years to come the T-929 is not ready - if 3 will be delivered in 2025 is yet another story and surely they are more prototypes than operational ones - so that "when customer lists a need for 10+t, there will be no more than a handful of address to turn and T-929 is NOT YET one of them"

J-31 is not ready too for export now
but Pakistan interested in J-31 and wants to buy J-31 from China for near future

3 T-929 will be delivered to the Turkish Army in 2025 for test phases

I remind you that F-35 was delivered to Air Forces but they became operational after years

T-929 will take years to become operational

even TAI focused on 10+ tons Utility Helicopter project because it gave more importance to the T925 project instead of the T-929 Attack Helicopter

so that "when customer lists a need for 10+t, there will be no more than a handful of address to turn and T-929 is NOT YET one of them"

As a probability T-929 is one of them

X-Country can join this project in 2025 to get T-929 fleet in 2030

so 5 years not a big time for such as projects

T-929 made the first flight in 2023 ....
And T-929 will be ready until 2030

HURJET joined tender in Malaysia even before making its first flight
And SPAIN interested in HURJET while It doesnt in service now
