No no no, there is no arrogance for sending money, it is just that seeing our beloved country where it is now puts alot of us in distress including Pakistanis that are home... that is the same pain we all feel.It is still just for relatives. Most of remittances come from gulf countries by labourers sending money back to family. I am an OSP too, the arrogance some of you have for sending money back is insane. If you invest something, you do it in hope of seeing it grow, not as charity. I wonder how many OSPs sent back volountary money to Pak govt during Khan govt, there is an option on FBR site for doing so. Answer is not many at all.
neighbors in the east [...] will be light years ahead of us
And to tell the truth, the western neighbor will also not be far off leaving us behind if we keep missing our shots. Not just the immediate east but also further east.
They have already proved how much better they are doing after freeing themselves from our 'leaders'.
The hate is there for a reason, whats astonishing is.. that higher ups are not able to see things for what they really are.You are blinded by hate. One dat ALLAH taala will shower truth upon you about the false messiah you are following
if we keep missing our shots.
There is a reason why every country wants an increase in inward remittances. As mentioned earlier, the recipient of the remittance spends in the economy and that drives economic activity.
Hence every politician and Chief of Army Staff goes abroad in the hope of generating more remittances.
Pakistanis should realize that the status quo is unsustainable, and if a certain institution has an overarching shadow over other institutions, it would culminate in another round of perpetual stunted growth.
I am of the opinion, the downward trend of remittances is partly to do with ouster of PTI but more to do with a trend of increasing number of Pakistanis having less of a connection with the origin country. This downward trend will continue and unfortunately the state does not have the foresight to see the same.Good thing remittances are in a downward spiral.
Ohh yes.. By we I meant the "real decision making" forces at play.Well to be fair it’s not “us” that are missing the shots. We didn’t put Ishaq Dar as finance minister, the Pakistan Army did.
It’s a force that strives to keep us downtrodden by ANY MEANS necessary.
If your deep state is under warranty, you ought to get a major overhaul done.how can our deep state be such dishonest to the interests of this country,
That's the thing, the deep state doesn't know where to go for the warranty claim, one minute they are doing visits to the US, next moment they will be singing praises for higher than Himalayas friendship. Just stick to a plan.If your deep state is under warranty, you ought to get a major overhaul done.
Don't ask US how, we have a worse situation, AND we're out of warranty.
Fairytales like this make you realise how fake the civilian casualty numbers are too. As far as I have learned 92% of casualties are Hamas or Hamas sympathisers. Great work by IDF. Am Yisrael Chai

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but there is still time to course correct.
Withdraw and stick to the constitutional role. Let the institutions mature and parliament function with proper oversight.
Actions like welcoming an absconder and sending a private jet to receive a corrupt person only validates the narrative that Pakistan is a banana republic.
Yes. Support for Israel against terrorism has nothing to do with Islam or Muslim brotherhood. Israel has good relations with all Muslim countries in the middle east, bar one terrorist groupWhat's the story? Are you a pro-Israeli, anti-Imran Pakistani?
