By the way I think you're confusing Venezuela with another country. US, as far as I know, has never engaged in open hostilities with Venezuela.

Not everything is black and white. He did some good things, but he was also a dictator subservient to the West.
Many Iranians will remember him as the man that was installed by the CIA/MI6 to oust Irans democratically elected prime minister Mossadeq, who had the balls to show the middle finger to the f*cking Brits, when he nationalized the Iranian oil industry.
That being said, the Shah is buried under the ground and is history.

HOWEVER, his son Reza Pahlavi needs to be called out for what he is. He is a snake, and a puppet in absolute terms!
He would be for Iran what Jolani has been for Syria.

Being an Azeri Turk, I have no exceptional love for Shah but Pahlavis were patriots. He would have taken Iran to Great Power status by 1990s. IRI is like Qajar empire. Started tough, kept Iran intact but becoming more and more irrationally stupid as time passes by. Post 2010s Khamenei is Naser Al-din Shah Qajar 2.0

What a funny comment.
The buy of some war equipment would not have made the Iranian army to be on the same level as the powerful armies of the world. The entire naval fleet of the Shah's army could resist the American attack for only a few hours. The tanks bought from England were bullshits and...

it is like considering the current Saudi army as powerful. The current Arabia and Iran during the time of the Shah have many similarities. They are both economic and military dependents and servants of the West.

There was a clash between Iraq and Iran when Shah was in power? This is news to me. I don't think that Iraqi forces were equipped to handle Iranian military of the 1970s. If there was indeed a clash in the 1970s then it might not have went well for him. Lol.

You mean "Some war equipment" like F-14As that downed 159 Baathist jets while losing 3? or F-4E/Ds that bombed Iraqi fields, nuclear plant, even Saddams palace? You do understand what would have been done to Iranian cities and population had their been no massive Shahi built IRIAF fleet defending Iranian skies and neutralizing strategic threats in enemy territory. Tanks play almost no role in Iranian doctrine even today, Iran is one of the most mountainous countries on planet earth.

What you are doing in blind love for Mullahs is that you are seeing Iranian military doctrine some 50 years ago through the lens of presentism. Imperial Iran had no quarrel with PGCC still Shah was going for best available Kidd class and Tang Submarines. My own understanding is that Iran would have become a nuclear armed/sharing country under Shah in mid-late 80s due to USSR invasion of Afghanistan and Baathists showing nuclear ambitions of their own. Like I said before, he was no angel, Pahlavis were persian chauvinists, but were Iranian patriots esp Reza Khan Mir Panji.

IRI is a threat driven asymmetric military relying upon missiles, UCAVs that in recent times is trying to become a conventional or symmetric force through rapid naval expansion, IADS, Aerospace etc, they can do much more but visibly the leadership lacks courage and often gets played in hands of Russia and China.

and have you forget what saved Dezful from Iraqi tank formation that was advancing toward the city . only 4 AH-1 bout by pahlavi king that managed to destroy 80 Russian supa dupa tank tank were not shit according to you
