Indian false flag and current Indo-Pak stand-off updates

@Mobius This is a good map. Pakistan can build dams on many rivers in Sindh and Balochistan but only one is built. It looks like Indus has some rivers joining from Pak Kashmir so it cannot be completey closed by india, Jehlum water can be greatly reduced by india.

The question is how are the rivers of sutlej, ravi and chennab doing. Some people are saying they are dry due to indian dams. Can any Punjabis confirm.

How much water is India going to stop though, Rajiv?
A lot. Enough to make pakistan a legal dry state. Till higher than mountain brother does something finally.

Isn't this a red line for pakistan? When is pak army doing to do anything about it?

Thank you for this bro.
Pakistan should have had a robust water policy but seems like the nation always sleeps till shyt hits the fan. We can do with a second artery off the Indus starting up north and going down to Gwadar. China has already inaugurated a distillation plant there, but it's imperative we have a natural source supplying Baluchistan too.

Yes, put a pipe in Modi's rear and connect it to Chenab. I think that's the only water storage facility Indians currently have.
Let me try it on you, if it works, I will ask the Indian govt to do it to Modi. Promise.

Indian media and the TVA brigade have been shouting from the hill tops about attacking Pakistan - with not 1 iota of proof - sticking their chests full of thunder - yet the most thats actually happened is about 20 of your brethren have got banned from this thread.
2 weeks and not 1 piece of proof?
whats the Ind army going to do about it?

Ooh.. I'm shivering already.. Those new missiles.. I'm scared.. 😰
Ye i can tell. The lack of response shows how scared you are of the response. You have produced no proof after 2 weeks. How weak and incompetent is that?

Helped over 50 years... nukes, missiles, infra, phulllll diplomatic support, 5th gen, eventually 6th gen, space missions

Cooperation not just higher than mountains but more vast than the universe itself....there .....that's the official line.

😂🫡

Well, I know as a fact that Pakistan's nuclear program is absolutely its own effort. When you say china helped in Pak's nuclear program, you do a great disservice to all that team and a great national effort that went into this program for a long time.

No country on earth, not even your GREATEST friend will ever help in nuclear program. No one wants another nuclear power. There was very talented team of Pakistani scientists put together and worked on it. Some were brought from abroad with knowledge of specific domains. In some cases, those scientists also sent to Europe in specific institutes to seek specific knowledge during late 70's to 80's. A whole private companies used to be propped up with contact numbers and address, so if asked they can tell they are employees of it that for-example makes furnaces for commercial purposes. It used to be daring missions as foreign intelligence was always on the look out. It was whole national effort with lot of sacrifices. So don't even assume that Pak got any help in nuclear weapons program. The nuclear power plants are completely different domain and Pakistan got Chashma and other commercial nuclear projects up and running with Chinese help. But not at all in nukes.

They are stopping the water to pakistan. What is pak army going to do about the water stoppage by India?

They can build dams near my former residence… the street used to be always full of water during moonsoon 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There is nothing new about this happening. India has been doing this since last decades. I have been reading such news almost every year. Now its just in headlines because of the current ongoing issue. The only difference this time is that India did not give a notice, like they usually do. Earlier Pakistan used to get notices so we used to have plans ready on how to release our own reservoirs. This time it will be a little more complex to do it, but still, our needs can be met.

What we do need to worry about, is to build emergency reserves of water and Dams in the next 8 - 10 years ASAP, before India starts blocking more and more water. We need to be able to store enough water from our own ice/rainfalls to stop caring about inflow of water from India.

Just today I was watching a debate on Geo news where some independent experts were grilling PMLN/PPP/PTI politicians for not working on Dams and all of them were busy blaming each other. And the experts were warning to them to stop fighting each other and start acting from now. that is the real issue.

Agreed, this isn't the first time this is happening. It's just that the Godi media and unfortunately some charlatans from our side (i.e. Moeed Pirzada) are working overtime on the marketing. I remember a similar situation back in 2018, so I dug up this report:

https://dunyanews.tv/en/Pakistan/470508-

Anecdotally I know that it has been attempted by India in other years also around the sowing season, but will have to dig up the reports. Net-net, they can continue to delay the water release for 4-5 more days, but they cannot altogether stop it. But you can bet that their media and the useful idiots will milk this for all its worth.

Having said that, the threat is real and must be taken very seriously. Ideally we would hope that strict action is now taken against those vested political interests in the country which have critically endangered Pakistan's water security. However, the public and even many respected policy makers have been poisoned with disinformation to such a degree, that this probably won't happen. The issue is overshadowed by the destructive politics of provincialism. While we are squabbling, India is building 60+ dams on our water.

We will survive today, but eventually things will come to a head, and at that point I hope our decision makers are not pigeonholed into kinetic options only. I love dam-busters as much as the next guy, but non-kinetic responses are required to give us strategic options, similar to how we have multiple options across the conventional escalation ladder. Creating non-kinetic options means we need to (a) enhance our water storage capacity and (b) reduce waste and mismanagement in existing water usage. We have all heard about (a) but as it turns out, (b) is equally important. A tremendous quantity of our precious water is being wasted through waterlogging and salination, because we have failed to line our irrigation canals properly. We have overused tubewells, lowered our water table, and caused serious damage to our ecological systems. Even at this eleventh hour, the situation can be rectified through a unified national effort.
