I'm talking about two different things. The first is the timing of the second replacement. Lieutenant-General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, concluded his visit to France, where he met with his French counterpart, Thierry Burkhard, and discussed topics of mutual interest.
Lieutenant-General Khalifa and his delegation received an official reception, which included a guard of honour review and military bands playing both countries' national anthems.
The Egyptian military spokesman stated Saturday that the visit is in light of military cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two nations' armed forces.
Khalifa underscored the deep relationship between Egypt and France, expressing his desire to broaden cooperation and partnership across various military sectors.
For his part, Burkhard praised Egypt's pivotal role in supporting the pillars of security and stability in the Middle East.
Additionally, he stressed his country's keenness to strengthen bilateral military relations to serve the common interests of both sides.
During the visit, both chiefs of staff inspected the French Joint Operations Centre and the Space Command Centre.
They received a briefing on both centres' operational methods, which ensure continuous control and coordination among the various branches of the French Armed Forces.
The French chief of staff also accompanied Lieutenant General Khalifa to a French military base, where they observed training activities featuring the latest French tanks, armoured combat vehicles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, all of which use advanced technological systems.
At the end of the tour, the Egyptian chief of staff commended the high standard of training, noting its contribution to the French Armed Forces' combat efficiency and its role in strengthening military cooperation between Egypt and France.

What’s confusing is Cairo Military is that they’re considering the J-10C when they already have a fleet of Rafales-3 with no Meteors ( PAF humiliated Rafale fighter and its legendary Meteor) and I believe yours have half range Scalp-Egs might as well be sitting ducks. Ditch the expensive Rafale future orders. And go for J10C with full package.

The JC10c has passed the test of war. J10C superiority over your french and Russian fighters. It is no longer whether to use China jets , the questions should be for your military’s leadership now to cooperate further with China…the western and Russian dominance on the military equipment are diminishing very sharply this is the very reality that you guys and westerners hard to accept.. At least your enemy Israelis raised alarm on this China Jet .. Indians didn’t raise alarm and thought China PL15 and JC-10 BVR jet was a part tiger in Pakistan and their Rafale jets& mirage2000, Sukhoi su30 all upgraded with latest updates by France, Americans & Israelis these jets got burned.
