I put it to you that India, in its entire 75 odd years of existence, has never once understood what "democracy" is.
Democracies always have ups and downs. Even the most developed nations have gone through it. Even here, many people say that democracy isn’t the best thing. But if no democracy then what? Military rule? We have seen the condition of all the neighbours who had dictatorships. This is the way to go and we may not be the happiest lot but not unhappy either.

There is only one direction this trajectory can now take.
Many more before you have prophesied the same. We have seen much worse times.
We have been going strong. Modis and Indiras will come and go but as a nation we will keep going. May not be music to many ears, but that is what is likely.

Your summative statement that India's military "knows its place" is indicative of the delusions that you reside under. Our military also knows its place, and that is a place of mutual respect. Our military knows we will grieve with them and rejoice with them, regardless of our political leaning.
Indian Military knows their place is in defending the nation and not ruling it. While it is quite the opposite for Pakistan.
Claiming that honour and rationality only exists on your side is a far stretch. We all know what happened to NLI soldiers and their honour after they laid down their lives. They were recognised many years later. Atrocities in East Pakistan hasn’t been forgotten either. It is better to not try and claim higher ground on this aspect.
We may not be the most functional and best in this part of the world but far ahead of Pakistan. .

I have taken in and processed (i process in my sleep) 5 interviews on Shivangi..

outcome is: dead or critically injured... but not in Pak captivity.

Show me proof saaar there is body of the pilot in his uniform inside the casket saaar! Or else it's propaganda by our neighbours saaaaaar. We shotdown 8 F-16s saaaaar. They are hiding their burial saaaar.

A typical Indian Keyboard Warrior response.

You guys used to mock us for not accepting our dead bodies during Kargil war. Well well well, how the tides have changed.

Fascist leaders always are elected to take over democracies and India is no exception:
"Democracy " in India:
- The only "democracy " in the world that has an animal ( cow) mentioned in its Constitution.

-The only "democracy" that has a Supreme Court that references religion, mythology and anecdotal evidence for a title suit on a disputed religious monument .

-The only "democracy " where an accident of birth (caste) determines the status of an individual and preferences to jobs, education and rural landed prosperity.

- The only "democracy" where caste is specifically mentioned in the Constitution

- The only "democracy" which still hasn't determined what the national language should be and which uses interpreters in its Parliament
-The only "democracy " where it's armed forces regiments are classified on religion, caste and ethnicity.

Is that one of the dead pilots that was air-lifted?

Not even on a stretcher. They could further injure people if they carry them like that -- if still alive.

Ok so these are speculated and Confirmed Losses:

BS-022(Speculated to be of the Indian Female Pilot, dunno whether she is in our custody or not)
One Unknown number in Poonch Rafale downed
BS-018,023,021,027(According to Raja Faisal with his indian media sources)
All in all 3 Rafale confirmed hit, rest 4 are either damaged or also downed
Mig 29 downed in Ramban According to OSINT
Sukhoi 30 downed in Akhnoor(Remember Reuters article in May 7 that 3 jets were downed in kashmir mustve then been Sukhoi Mig and that rafae in poonch)

Pilot in Bathinda and The mig 29 pilot is thought to be dead

Female pilot is unconfirmed for now

this is actually disastrous if true

Op Bunyan Um Marsoos had less success but we know there were personnel losses in 4 airbases(Mightve likely been S400 Cheeseboard in Adampur,Udhampur hit,Sirsa Hit and Pathankot hit maybe or Srinagar Raid)

We know IAF downed their jets after May 7 and didnt fly till 10th we have a buffer zone of about 200km

They had to use brahmos to get past defense, we know AVM Aurangzeb with radar evidence showed they fired 100s of brahmos maybe to try to get a hit but most of it was jammed or Intercepted By HQ9

No real evidence of radars or HQ9 being hit in Lahore dunno where they got that from

We know Army also did some work ie some indian posts mightve been destroyed or raised white flag on 7th in LOC

Yes. There are many more things that are unique to Indian democracy and there is no reason to be apologetic about them.

There is no reason for us to copy stuff from others.

We are the largest democratic nation with more ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity than any other nation. We have to have many unique features to be able to do it.

Many shortcomings listed by you infact aren’t that. In fact there are many others and I can post a longer list of those shortcomings.

Sad for naysayers, but we are here to stay and get stronger by the day.

Just one food for thought - Our most popular leader is in the Prime Minister office and yours is in the jail.
A nice analysis written in 2004 published in NYT. https://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/16/...a-and-pakistan-so-close-but-so-different.html
