They already knew for a fact that Iran was working on an implosion device. We hired a nuclear expert to teach us the hydrodynamics of an implosion device. We bought high time resolution cameras from the Czech Republic to capture nanosecond photos. They aren't stupid. They have been through all this a thousand times. They know every step. They knew about Kalay-e Electric long before 2009. They knew about our entire chain of equipment acquisitions, even David Albright knew all of this before 2009.they exposed Natanz in 2002 but Natanz wasn't connected to the pre-2003 weaponisation activities (except to the extent that they needed enriched uranium to complete weaponisation). only in 2009 did the West learn that Iran had conducted research on two point implosion devices
Not really. 60% enrichment started after 2018. This case has been ongoing for 22 years. There was no master plan. You can think there's been one, but there never was any. Maybe during Ahmadinejad, some of our progress could be seen as part of a larger master plan, but certainly it wasn't so after 2013.the idea is to accumulate so much 60% HEU that they have to negotiate with us to make a new deal for fear we will quickly build a bomb
obviously it didn't work well
and I don't agree with you about Russia. they are a bad ally but that doesn't mean we are their puppet. neither east nor west is genuine for the leaders
Then explain why it always ends to Russia. Why not China? Why do we learn about Iran's foreign policy developments from the Russians before we hear it from our own Foreign Ministry?
