I think most Indian analysts would agree that if Pakistan does come out of the China camp, it is far more likely to lead to a detente between India and China, rather than India and Pakistan.
It is a three body problem where only two can have good relations with each other. In the early years after Independence , the Americans tried to patch things up between India and Pakistan to enlist them both in the alliance against communism and , I suspect, Trump may have something similar in mind, though neither India or Pakistan would be interested in my opinion , India especially so - unless the Pakistani government of the day makes concessions that would be politically suicidal.
Likewise , any improvement in India-China relations will likely come at Pakistan's expense .
