Army could set up AT courts, however the local government, bar, judiciary will start howling about it, verdicts being challenged and sent to higher courts...the same old script. No need to destabilize Taliban regime, in fact they should be strengthened. I see Afghanistan appearing relatively stable and quiet now which should be encouraged.

But they don't have control of their frontier areas. We need to hit these bases hard and dismantle their entire infrastructure including roads. Keep hitting them until they surrender.
