Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Because Iran is 1,500 km away.
Had Iran been right next to Israel like Lebanon and Syria, it would've been a completely different story now.

But do you seriously deny that the US did not lose even a single soldier after bombing our nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan?
How are the Israelis hitting Sanaa, which is farther away than Tehran?

How are the Israelis hitting Sanaa, which is farther away than Tehran?
Let's discuss this based on facts and numbers, shall we?

This is the list of all Israeli attacks on Yemen:
1. July 20, 2024 (14 killed, 9 injured, 6 missing)
2. May 5, 2025 (4 killed, 42 injured)
3. May 6, 2025 (3 killed, 38 injured)
4. May 11, 2025 (No casualties. Denied by the Houthis)
5. August 17, 2025 (No casualties)
6. August 24, 2025 (2 killed, 35 injured)

So, overall, Israel has launched 6 strikes on Houthis of Yemen with 23 deaths, 124 injuries and 6 missing.

Feel free to add anything I have missed. I tried to do a thorough search as much as possible.

So, yes. Even if we ignore the fact that Israel-Iran war has not ended yet, still Israel has hit Iran stronger and more frequently than it has targeted Yemen which proves that distance matters.
Israel claims it completed 1,500 sorties over Iran in the 12-day war. Far more than what it has done to Yemen. Over 1,100 Iranians were killed, and more than 5,000 Iranians were injured. Not even remotely close to the situation in Yemen.

If distance does not matter, what is keeping Israel from breaking the ceasefire and bomb Iran at its discretion like its been doing with Lebanon?

I think you are confused, bro.
Your position was that distance is not the issue. So, your argument should start with "if distance matters..."

Read what I said again. Your example of Houthis in Yemen not only does not strengthen your argument, but it weakens it too.

If Israel can launch ALBMs from Iraqi airspace than distance between Iran and Israel doesn't matter. His point about yemen isn't wrong either. Israel doesn't bomb Yemen as much because their isn't as many facilities in yemen to bomb as their are in Iran not because they are scared of the houthis.

I'm really surprised that we are arguing over obvious facts on a military forum.

Are you saying that flying 2,000 km fully loaded over multiple countries to bomb Tehran is no different from flying over Lebanon which can be targeted even from Israel's own airspace? lol

Do you think Israel hit Iran just with ALBMs/ALCMs over Iraqi air space?

I think it is you who is confused. You said that Iran is lucky its not next door to Israel because if it was, Israel would be bombing Iran despite the "cease fire" I brought up the Yemen example to show that Israel is capable of hitting targets farther away than Iran if it choses to do so. So my question to you is, If Iran is so humiliated and defeated as you, Darious Bozorg and Persian Gulf all claim, What is keeping the Israelis from bombing Iran? We all know that Israel historically views "cease fires" as you cease fire while we keep firing. SO why is it that when it comes to a defeated and humiliated Iran, Israel has not hit Iran directly since the cease fire went into effect?

No but if it wanted to strike Iran anytime it could. It doesn't because its trying to refill its interceptor stock for round 2. Otherwise they would have bombed Iran until Khamenei agreed to dismantle the nuclear and missile program all together.

Dude, read again. I just explained to you. Israel has launched fewer strikes against Yemen than Iran. Do you happen to have any sort of critical thinking whatsoever? lol

I explained it to you already. Distance.
Israel has already hit Iran plenty after the ceasefire, and got away until the recent Yemeni attack. You think all these explosions and massive fires throughout Iran are just coincidences? Just a week ago, three columns of thick smoke went up in Tehran and Shiraz on the same f*cking day. Coincidence?

You still haven't explained why Iran is negotiating with the Europeans over 1% enrichment. Our initial stance was "no negotiations, no war". Now our position has changed to pause hostilities while we're negotiating lol. Normally, guys like you would blame the reformists for this, but it was only yesterday that Khamenei supported Pezeshkoon. So, what's your excuse now?

What does that have to do with what we were talking about? That is completely irrelevant.
We were talking about the frequency of Israeli attacks on Iran, which is mostly because of the distance between us. Had we lived next to them, they would've attacked us way more frequently. I feel like I'm explaining obvious things now.

Those attacks were during the "12 day war". I am talking about the time since the "cease fire" went into effect.

I'm not sure I'm following.
Did the ceasefire went into effect 10 days ago? Because those attacks that I'm talking about happened less than 2 weeks ago.
There have been multiple unexplained explosions and large fires throughout Iran after the war. Sure, some of them could be coincidental.
I mean it happens once in a while. But three incidents in the same day? Would you assume that's coincidental too?

Tell me if we were so victorious how come that we are going back at the tables negotiating 1% enrichment? Our position is weaker not stronger. We didn't lose you, we lost ppl like Hajizadeh, a capable commander. We lost the Chief of staff as well as the IRGC commander.

What planet are you living on and what are you smoking? Mind you don't throw tantrums like my ex girlfriend. I'm allergic to those kinda divas now. Just answer

Sure but Israel hasn't violated our airspace since the agreement was signed. Israel can bomb hezbollah all it wants because hezbollah doesn't have any missiles to fight Israel with anymore. Iran does hence why Israel cant just violate Iran's airspace willy nilly. It needs to save up for a large scale operation not repeated strikes like in Lebanon. Hezbollah has been in close proximity with Israel for years before the war and their were no strikes against them.

Iran's negotiations with Europe are more of a joke than anything.

Covert attacks are not on the same level as the military operations Israel's air force conducted during the 12-day war. The covert attacks don't do tactical or strategic damage. They are a psychological warfare campaign to degrade morale.
