Bangladesh Keen To Join Saudi-Pak-Turkey Defence Alliance, Says PM's Top Aide

If I were to hazard a guess, based purely on the status of Pakistan's own variant form of such a serially self-harming community, I would probably expect to find such folk more concentrated outside of Bangladesh rather than actually residing therein.

And you would be correct.

The loudest of Hasina cheerleaders are all safe living in the western countries. They urge people to come out in the social media to bring Hasina back. Some even call for Indian army intervention. The level of slave mentality one has to have to stoop to such level is astonishing to me.

My advice to Pakistani bros is not to mistake PDF jamatis as representative of the Bangladeshi voice.

There’s no support for military “alliances” in Bangladesh.

People want basic necessities addressed. For the first time in a decade factories are facing an acute power shortage. Government has introduced humiliating restrictions on use of electricity.

Even without BAL participation - it saw the Jamatis totally humiliated.

Even the BNP is on a short leash unless it can solve the acute power shortages.

Bangladeshis have a healthy scepticism of the military based on the experiences of the British empire, Pak military and military rules in 1980s.
As soon as you stoop to use words like jamati - we switch off. You really are a one trick pony.

I reserve the word jamati for specific people.

Jamaat isn't in power. It was high level Bangladeshi government officials publicly claiming their desire to join the Mecca Pact. Yet in your post you claim that only Jamatis are rooting for this alliance.

When you say Jamaati, what you really mean is any nationalist Bangladeshi who is not willing to bow down to Hindutva supremacy. Be it actual Jamaatis or BNP.

You are fooling no one.

This is not a domestic politics thread, which you can derail with your nonsensical rants. Back to topic or leave if you don't have anything of value to contribute.

Amen to that, bro!

New government is struggling badly and making hasty announcements and pronouncements.

1. Fighter jets procurements
2. Military alliances
3. Oil refinery expansion using expensive sharia loans
4. Teesta deal with China allegedly
5. Expansion of the metro at inflated cost
6. Buying new passenger jets from Boeing for the basket case Biman

Etc etc

Given the economic crisis - let’s see if any actually materialises
Interesting, so you has problem with almost everything that will further hurt Indian hegemony over Bangladesh. That says a lot about where your loyalties lie.

Bangladesh should look into annexing North East India states in the event of the war. Bangladesh can keep the lowly populated states while china gets back south tibet, sikkim and bhutan. All bangladesh needs is to do is build a strong network of tunnels and trenches with landmines and barb wire etc on the Western front and harass indians with fpv drones. On the Eastern flank bangladesh and china can annex the North East states that don't want to be part of India anyway.
Do you know the strength of Indian army deployed in Siliguri corridor and north East Indian states like tripura and Assam?

Even when Bangladesh does posses decent sized military and fire power they will also have huge casualities..... and why will china jump for Bangladesh? They don't get involved in others wars.... even if they are in mecca pact even then nobody will come to their rescue if they have initiated the war with India....

This is absurd.

This is absurd.
what is absurd is playing a game where you will get crushed. Learn to not play the same game your opponents set for you and you will begin to figure things out.

This is why @El Sidd is how he is regarding his opinion on Bangladesh. Even though I find his whining tiring, I do get his POV.

It's better for us(Pakistanis) to be safe than to be sorry again...... A Muslim is unlikely to hurt himself the same way twice.

Maybe its just me or the BD decision to move forward with J-10's can be a good indicator where they want to allign themselves to be, JF-17's and J-10's are the prime front line fighters of PAF (founding member of MDA PACT) so if BD actually get the J10's then i will see them doing exercises with PAF, and maybe (that's a big if) down the line they might get 1 sq of JF17 block 3 to fill in the gaps or for Anti ship role, its all too early but i think BD showing interests in MDA shows that they are willing to move away from the Indian sphere and rightly so, Its India that is messing up the entire region just because they have a small peepee nation that can't digest other countries surpassing them, crying wolf about terrorism when they are doing the same for years now in Pakistan, giving shelter to runaway's like Dalai Lama, and Hasina. The earlier Indians realize that their Phatherland won't give a fuq for their idol worshiper country, and America only care about its own national interest and white Europeans the better for Indians, their fate/destiny is in south Asia so better stop exporting terrorism and meddling in other countries and sit back with regional countries and fix issues rather than been a dehati aurat.
