Truth be told, in principle I do. This was discussed extensively in another circle. That suspicion became even more valid when it was leaked that Dr. Fauci was behind providing a grant to the Wuhan lab to conduct gain of function research. For what reason would someone be interested in gain of function on a virus such as this.

Then you have the after-the-fact evidence from Fauci himself that for all practical purposes, masking and social distancing were made up on the fly with no scientific basis behind them regarding the effectiveness of such practices.
