I don't frankly understand the Pakistani tension.

You got a country for Muslims only.

And you failed at it.

You still want to fight us.

Why?

You want more to fail spectacularly at?

7 decades you've had to build a nation. That's at least standing on its own, if not exactly punching higher.

Bitter truths. Maaf karna bhai log.

Cheers, Doc

P.S. @Joe Shearer @Kaniska @VCheng @Musings Hearty congratulations on the new livery.

We are in no position to retaliate. Last time it was Khan that forced to retaliate. After that we saw even when a missile was fired and struck in Pakistan nothing happened as Khan government was already on its last legs thanks to Bajwa and Co and they never had any intention to respond even after Balakot. Remember Ayaz Sadiq statement "matha per peesena tha, tanga kamp rahi thin.
Also the next installed premier is Nawaz Sharif, do you really believe he will reply? That would be the biggest joke.
Trust me this time retaliation would be bigger. That would be opportunity for taken by forces to try to improve their image. I have serious issues with Army leadership, but Ayaz Sadiq statement was pure BS.

At the time i was at the forefront of calling it out BS as well but what transpired after that forced me to do self introspection. For all those years what we believed in, wasnt the reality. I just wish we could have realized this earlier.
As for improving their image, i highly doubt that, they dont care anymore. Besides war is not be a PR exercise.

@Maira La I'm confused. Are you Bangladeshi or Pakistani. For some reason I associate your UD with Bangladeshi.

@Maula Jutt are you a Pakistani immigrant to the US like Razi or born there? I'm guessing the latter?

Cheers, Doc

You need to stop analysing military matters through a PTI whatsapp aunty's perspective. Khan is a pacifist and has no appetite for war.

The missile was fired to test Pakistan's response in a potential counterforce strike. Pakistan did not take the bait (or had no capability to do so). Indians made frantic calls assuring Pakistani commanders it was an accidental launch. HQ-9B has been operationalized by PAF since this incident.

Had there been a state of tensions, Pakistan would've assumed it was a counterforce attack and launched retaliatory (possibly nuclear) missile strikes immediately.
So i should rather take it from COAS Bajwa's perspective then? By the way it was'nt PTI whatsapp aunty's group that said how Bajwa felt after Balakot retaliatory strike but their very own favorite and the current contender of PM, his senior party member who also happened to be previous speaker of the national assembly said on the floor. So take it with them not me.

The former, but boundaries of South Asian continent are not respected by the largest successor to British Raj, so does it matter? From Indian perspective I am Akhandian, and will continue to be nosy regarding all Akhand matters.

As long as the BJP is in power, India will never initiate any war with Pakistan nor wish to be engaged in a war-like situation

With characteristic foresight and planning, India moved the war long ago to the diplomatic and insurgency fronts. Pakistan, equally characteristically, was caught on the back foot and has never recovered.

The Pakistani establishment seems incapable or unwilling (USA restraint?) to take the offensive to India and pay back in the same, uh, COIN. Certainly, the Western double standard that chastises Pakistan but gives India a pass on similar activity would also be a consideration.

No need for a clash, the power that be in India has enough publicity on foreign policy front and then biggest show is coming to India in 2024: Ram Mandir. On Kashmir front, current government has just got the legitimacy on its action of cancelling Kashmir's special status. This time around Indian government is actually massively stronger than 2019.

If you have to look out for, it will be 2029. Thats when Modi will not to be there to run as PM.

Tried for decades and failed.

So its not from want of trying.

Just a superior adversary. And exposed cleave planes of your own rather soft belly.

Plus it does not help that the Muslim nation to your west is really out to hurt you. Probably a lot more proactively and openly than us.

Cheers, Doc

You are close.
Deletion of posts, more than banning.
Close for what?

There is a second generation Pakistani American pup and a Bangladeshi supremacist giving lip.

We are replying in a pretty measured manner, considering its Guru and I.

Cheers, Doc

I have to agree, relatively restrained by Guru Dutt's standards, didn't find a huge deal to complain about in yours or in Maira La's. Best to erase the posts that slang the others' culture and basic humanity.

I don't want to give the impression that I am a superior human being, and above the kinds of frothing at the mouth posts on display. In a good-humoured way, it should be possible to say, "That's not good enough, guys", and delete posts and leave it light. Wouldn't you agree?
