During the United Nations General Assembly, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Dr Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh’s Interim Government.
As per the Chief Adviser's schedule, a bilateral meeting with Pakistan's Prime Minister is set to take place on Wednesday at 10:30 am local time in New York, according to local media outlets report.
Earlier that day, Dr Muhammad Yunus met with US President Joe Biden, who reaffirmed his full support for the government of Bangladesh during their discussions.
Additionally, the Chief Adviser met with several heads of state and leaders of various organisations, including Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.
