Let's hope a ceasefire will be reached now that Hamas has agreed to Egypt's, Qatar's and the US tentative terms with Israel and see the Palestinian people get some much-needed relief.
In the meantime, this is happening in the Red Sea.
The launch of the mixed naval exercise for the countries bordering the Red Sea “Red Wave 7” in the Western Fleet, with the participation of the #القوات_المسلحة (Armed Forces) branches represented by the naval, land and air forces, border guard units, and forces from Jordan, Egypt, Djibouti, and Yemen.

The new Egyptian detection radar EMBR-16A, which is a meter wave radar developed and produced at the Banha Electronics Factory of the Ministry of Military Production, has a range of 350 km and a maximum detection height of 20 km.
Meter wave radar is regarded as an effective detection scheme against low observable aircraft:
1) The radar absorption material (RAM) at this regime is less unlikely to be effectively applied due to the large thickness required.
2) The resonance effect between wavelength and the size of the aircraft leads to a larger radar cross section (RCS).
3) The cheaper RF front end price of the meter wave radar provides a larger power-aperture product, therefore a higher detection probability, mostly with advanced digital signal processing techniques.

BMGs even RPGs and drones too. Glocks, Barettas, 9mm, .22, .380, .40, .45 ACP you name it. Medic assistant, I'll work the radio I'll drive any armored vehicle or even M60A3 if they need it. But I don't think they're short of men. If they need it and will take a 28 ooops, I meant a 58 year-old, I'm game. I'm still in great shape Alhamdulillah so no problem there. The Lovely Missus will be a little upset but she'll understand without a doubt.

Anyone know how many of the M2s (2-seaters) there are?
Would've like to see them keep at least one squadron in this camo pattern, looks really sweet and would be the same as the Ka-52s and almost all the cargo planes. Maybe a 3rd color to break up the monotony and lighten up that pool tile belly blue lol.
