All arms suppliers want the communication, identification, and command and control systems to be subordinate to their camp. This is unacceptable. Egypt does not trust any single arms supplier at all. Simply put, what China is offering today, in a good manner and with favorable terms, was initially provided by the Soviet Union. Then, it sought to control Egyptian armaments, despite the fact that what it was offering was... The armament was not equivalent to what the West provided to Israel. Therefore, anyone who imagines that Egypt will rely on its command and control systems remains militarized and delusional. Even the results of the clashes between India and Pakistan do not give full confidence in Chinese weapons or Chinese tactics. Some do not understand that fighters are a platform used within a system that is deployed according to its capabilities. Rather, they increase the burden of maintaining superiority, which requires a lot of resources. Therefore, armament programs were implemented within sound plans that are being reviewed as a result of the recent Russian-Ukrainian wars and the experience of monitoring various conflicts, such as those of Israel and India-Pakistan. All of these are under surveillance, and Egypt therefore does not need radical adjustments to its plans, as some imagine.
