For Muslims, Hindus, Christians Tarique Rahman's Bangladesh Unity Appeal

The topic of the Rohingyas is directly related to the OP.

Tariq Zia spoke of an inclusive and pluralistic Bangladesh of different ethnic groups and religions. Now in the Rohingya context they are not indigenous to Bangladesh but just as Bangladeshi citizens of different ethnic and religious backgrounds have basic rights to human dignity so do they. Therefore they deserve the right to return to their homeland.

Bangladesh has sought to do this peacefully and had dialogue with an ethno-fascist military regime next door. However to no avail, thus the only option is to pursue policies that people such as Zia Rahman did successfully.

As for 'racism' describing the hostility of Mongoloid peoples to Indic peoples of India and Bangladesh is an attempt to counter their racism and reduce their racism which has manifested itself in wholesale slaughter of men, women and children e.g. the Nellie Massacre and false propaganda that only Mongoloid peoples are indigenous to the land.

@MNZGamerX has produced work elsewhere pointing out that the Mongoloid peoples of the CHT are not indigenous to the land and do not have the right to call themselves indigenous/aboriginal (thus implying a lesser status for other Bangladeshi citizens who should be "Banned" from residing in locations in their own country) but it is better to call them 'tribal'.

Chakmas and other Mongoloid peoples can live anywhere in Bangladesh and own land be it:
- Dhaka
- Chittagong
- Sylhet
Anywhere

Whereas I as an ethnic Bengali (Sylheti) cannot live in the CHT and it's a NO-GO zone for Bengalis as far as living there.

In other words they have preferential treatment and I am in some ways a second class citizen in my own country.

We couldn't even relocated Rohingyas to the sparsely populated CHT but Chaitgayas have to put up with an influx of over 1 million foreigners (Rohingyas) to an already heavily populated country.

This Mongoloid hostility and racism to Indic peoples is not just limited to Bangladeshis or Indian Bengali Muslims but also to Bengali Hindus, two of whom were murdered recently in Assam.

So as I said before connect the dots.

1. North-eastern India: Mongoloids 'We don't want Indic people (Muslim or Hindu) here and will carry out violence.'

2. Bangladesh, CHT: Mongoloids 'We don't want Indic people (Muslim or Hindu) here and will carry out violence.'

3. Myanmar, Rakhine: Mongoloids ''We don't want Indic people (Muslim or Hindu) here and will carry out violence.'

We shouldn't have to put up with violence, genocide, ethnic cleansing, massacres and if Tariq Zia is talking about a safe Bangladesh where everyone can feel comfortable that includes me as an ethnic Bengali (Sylheti) and also the Rohingyas.

It’s utterly bonkers.

Ofcourse we should be able to relocate the Rohingyas in CHT if we want to.

Every citizen must have equal rights.

This is not USA - we did not get on a boat to colonise and brutalise native people.

We are the natives of this land.

It’s the Mongoloids who migrated to our land.

South of Himalayan is Indic people north is mongoloid.

They are the intruders. Not us.

Looks like the solution is ‘Ius est in armis’
Aka ‘might is right’

LONDON: A demonstration outside the Bangladeshi High Commission in London on Saturday briefly turned tense when pro-Khalistan Sikh activists and a small group of Hindu protesters confronted each other, prompting police intervention.

The Khalistan Movement wants an independent Sikh state carved out of India and dates back to India and Pakistan’s independence in 1947, when the idea was pushed forward in negotiations preceding the partition of the Punjab region between the two new countries.

The protest was held in connection with reports of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. During the gathering, Paramjeet Singh Pamma, identified by organisers as a coordinator of the Khalistan Referendum campaign, was involved in a brief scuffle with an Indian Hindu protester.

Metropolitan Police officers on duty intervened quickly, separating the individuals and dispersing the groups from close proximity to the mission building. No injuries were reported.

Tariq has won the elections!

Both (BNP and BAL) of Bangladesh’s main political force are now inclusive and secular.

This gives Bangladeshis a real choice in future elections.

I am glad all the Islamists are now in Jamat. I hope they stay there till eternity. And take the remaining Islamists from BNP.

A strong secular nationalist BNP will also force BAL to sever its links with the vile chetona brigade.

@SoulSpokesman I think India has also learned a valuable lesson - if they compromise BAL and marginalise BNP - USA will come and meddle in their backyard with the Jamati viper.

@uksyl have you noticed, we Sylhetis are the true swing voters of BD. We always pick the winners. We are the bell weather division of Bangladesh.

All of the divisive figures of Bangladesh are now out.

1. Mujib murdered
2. Zia murdered
3. Ershad dead
4. Khaleda dead
5. Hasina exiled forever

New chapter for Bangladesh.

If Tareq messes things up from this point - he’ll have no one but himself to blame.

There is a semi-serious idea that we Sylhetis run the economy of Bangladesh be it Muhit (Awami League) or Saifur Rahman (BNP).

We are known to be the most religious and conservative area of Bangladesh but we voted for the BNP (Indian agents as per Jamaati propaganda) despite that.

Bangladeshis want a peaceful country which means there has to be a peaceful region and thus good relations with people of different religions and neighbouring countries.

Sylhetis are small C conservatives.

Very similar to one nation tories of U.K.

Who also produced the most consequential finance ministers.

We are also internationalists due to the oversized diaspora.

Rest of BD seems to be either extreme jamatis or far left chetona.

In life people who are aggressive will get aggression back to them.

People who are generally quiet (not meek e.g. we need to have a very strong military but not look for trouble) and work hard are more successful.

Bangladesh should be a peaceful country just focusing on lifting itself out of poverty with hostility to no one.

As for Sylhetis, all regions of Bangladesh including Chittagong, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Jessore, Khulna are all important.

India's West Bengal seems to be heading down the path of de-Bengalifying Bengal.

It is well known that the northern Indians of the BIMARU states / cow belt / Hindi belt consider Hindi to be the "real" Indian language and dislike Bengali.

If this continues the Bengali language will be exclusively identified with Bangladesh and we will be seen as the preserves and guardians of that language.

In Bangladesh on the other hand this is what we see:

Bangladesh and Bangladeshi nationalists are monitoring the situation in India including the expansion of BJP power (anti-Bengali, anti-Muslim dominated by fascists from BIMARU, Hindi-belt states) into areas bordering our territories.

I cannot disclose details but appropriate action is being planned and may be implemented.

Gujarat may suffer for its oppression of Bengalis (Muslim and Hindu).

Watch Gujarat in June.
