Gaza-Israel Conflict | 2023-2024

America's suddenly changed its tone because Jewish businessmen and their lobbyists don't want to lose money. The profits from war and propaganda are not enough to cover the cost of the genocide.

That, and the fact that Hezbollah could end Israel's existence as a state.

Several US soldiers injured in rocket attack against Al-Asad base in Iraq

this is big. good response to the US killing 3 Iraqi PMU members a week ago. US will feel obliged to respond. things just got messier.

@Falcon29
Interesting timing. Maybe to show US that they don't fear threats about Israel? Israeli media is reporting two soldiers killed:
..
..

Enemy Media - At least two American soldiers killed as a result of missile attacks on Ain al-Assad air base in Iraq..

Everything that could have gone wrong for Israel has gone wrong. It's just a matter of how much more bloodshed will be spilt before the Israeli general public separates the truth from the propaganda.

This is an unwinnable war, Netanyahu made sure of that when he declared that he would eradicate hamas, an organization he built and made sure couldn't be eradicated.

Israel has only destroyed 2/24 Hamas battalions after 10 months of genocide in Gaza, 7 battalions have rebuilt their forces

24 Hamas Battalions

16 Hamas battalions are in north/central Gaza (most heavily targeted areas)

2/16 battalions have been destroyed

9/16 battalions have been degraded but are still functional

5/16 battalions are still combat effective

the above numbers include 7/16 battalions that have been reconstituted (4 of these are degraded, 3 of these are combat effective), with thousands of new recruits

This suggests that as soon as Israel leaves Gaza, Hamas will rebuild very quickly. It is already rebuilding during the genocide...

Dr. Trita Parsi, IMO, is THE expert, along with Max Blumenthal, in interpreting the official American statements and understanding the American domestic politics.
Per this video, Iran has been placed on an 'escalatory ladder' by Israel when Haniyeh was killed in Tehran. Iran doesn't want a war. Americans don't want a war. But Netanyahu wants a war and he has a lot of sway over the American policies. Per this video, the timing of the escalation suits Netanyahu fine due to the American politics in a limbo until well into January. Per him, Iran would like to punish Israel enough but not to the point of a major Israeli response. He also says initially, at least, Americans wouldn't want to attack Iran directly and instead would focus on shooting down the Iranian missiles.

So after the inevitable Iranian attack--which could happen any minute-- it will be the Israeli response to watch.
