Wassem Hazem, head of the Hamas terror organization in the West Bank area of Jenin, was killed on Friday in a joint IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police counterterrorism operation in the northern Samaria area, Israel's military announced shortly afterward.

Hazem was killed in his vehicle after an exchange of fire during the joint operation. His role in the terror group involved carrying out and directing shooting and bombing attacks.

Hazem continuously advanced terrorist activities in the Judea and Samaria area, the IDF added.

Following the elimination of Hazem, two additional terrorists, Maysara Masharqa and Arafat Amer, who were in the vehicle with him, attempted to flee the scene. However, shortly afterward, they were also killed by an IDF aircraft.

Masharqa and Amer operated under the command of Hazem and took part in shooting attacks against Israeli communities, the IDF said.

What was found in Hazem's vehicle?

Following the triple assassination, the IDF searched the vehicle in which the terrorists were located and found M16 rifles, handguns, cartridges, explosives, gas grenades, and thousands of shekels worth of terrorist funds.

There were no reports of any IDF soldiers who were wounded during the operation.

Earlier on Friday morning, the IDF said they had struck a terror cell in Jenin during a clash with Israeli security forces

The Palestinian Health Ministry claimed that 19 people have been killed since the IDF began operations in the West Bank.

Arrow-2 has a range of 90-100km

Israel is tiny. the coast of Gaza is only 85km from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and 45km from Beer Sheeba. so it's very easy for them to have coverage.

the area with less ABM protection is the Golan Heights since parts of it are 130km+ away from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem
Never the less, mentioned target remains as highly rewardable for any possible retaliation, both military and politically.

The other interesting item is that recently the polish foreign minister said that there were masses of new applications for new polish passports from polish descended Israelis. Reclaiming citizenship is a multi month to years effort for the application, the verification and then citizenship. So those who wanted to and could leave, have left. However they maybe many more thousands to hundreds of thousands of Israelis who want to leave but cannot as they are still in the application process.

I am certain that this is the case in other European countries aswell given the bulk of the Israeli population is from Western Europe.

I do think the story of people leaving Israel is not over yet. We may have witnessed the peak of the inflection point of the Israeli population. From now on it will progressively decline with those families who have left to not return and therefore not making babies in Israel, those who want to leave but waiting on new citizenship papers to be sorted and then those who want families but the economic downturn has put a break on their plans.

Being a citizen of a country that is being bought up for genocide is not a good association. People don’t want that stain to follow them around everywhere they go.

There were lots of jews living in Palestine before WW2 peacfully for centuries. No problem if they stay. Neither those whom grandparents bought properties from palestinians in a completeley fair deal in the early 1900s. But the colonialist settlers who stole palestinians land after WW2 cannot stay. Especially if they still harbor vile hatred for the indiginous people.

There is a main difference :
Hamas and some gazaouis so called civilians deliberatly attack, burnt, amputate, killed israeli civilians.
It's not the case of IDF. But if a Hamas top brass is hiden in a Mosquee or a school, it is unfortunately more than possible than he will not be the sole to be hurt.
The other solution, expected by Hamas, is not to open fire where there is the single risk of civilian losses. As it was absolutely not the spirit of Hamas 7th october, donc expect IDF to be too gentle.
meanwhile, in reality

Saudi is not responsible, but Egypt is. Why do they shut the Rafah gate during the first phase of war is blown mind, now Rafah gate has been occupied by Israeli force
Saudis have the ability to stop it, they are defacto rulers of the arab world the rest of the arab countries would fall in line. They just need to say to stop all trade, block all access to water and air both by Israeli and american planes/ships in the region and this genocide would not have gone on this long.

Make no mistake they are fine with the genocide.

Arab are weaken by their own mistake like happening in Syria, Iraq, Libya,Yaman. They fight to each other and in the past they created their own problem like how Iraq attacking Iran that create long war between two coutries

In the past, Syria alone can kick out Israel from Lebanon. Now we see the result of Arab fighting to each other, even Palestinian is not even united. Hamas leaves PLO and made its own strategy that now lead to disaster

They can't stay any more, the Jews have broken the relationship with the middle east and their behaviour has consequences
