Got to be the single dumbest thing I've ever read! so 4th gen aircraft can only have a delta wing?! Guess what, the JF17 does have a delta wing! Just like the F16. But using your logic, that would mean the Mirage III/IV is also forth gen then?!

The serving Indian Air Force Chief cannot make propaganda statements, they are accountable to the Indian government and responsible for protecting India's airspace. If they were to make a propaganda statement, they would face severe consequences, including the possibility of being removed from their position.

You mean like when the Indian air force chief says they shot down a PAF F16 or when they said they "detected" the J20 flying in China?! Yeah sure, that's not propaganda at all! Lol

well your deluded to think IAF has only LCA tejas

rather the mainstay of IAF attack is UPG Mig29 & Mirage2000 or SU 30(which too are upgraded with GaN based Virushka AESA radar , Software defined radios and SATCOM LINKs & new Cockpit insturmentaions and mission compouters )

LCA is just a POINT DEFNCE fighter for LIGHT ESCORT or LIGHT INTERCEPTION or LIGHT AIR SUPPORT/STRIKE roles as the last line of defnce of IAF and will always fight inside indian airspace

but your F16 or JF17 or J10 all need LONG LEGs and good payload capacity which other than F16 and J10 to some extend no other PAF mainstay like Mirage III or Mirage IV or JF17s or F7 can do as all of them need to cover at least 500+ Km with at least 3500-5000Kg of weapons and fuel to do any damage and get back safely which is out of there class

and yes just cause there is a supply chain problem with GE404 engines most Pakistani members are dancing with glee forgetting USA also has elections and new things already taking shape and be it Democrats or be it Republicans no one is going to make an enemy with india for a nation like Ukraine just cause India is buying crude oil from russia ... you guys also celebrated 15-08-2019 as a great day and your ISI chief went to Kabul and had tea there now look how many body bags those same GOOD TALLIBUNNIES are sending you

Why does the U.S. Air Force operate F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35 (A, B, C variants), and A-10 Thunderbolt? Why don’t they rely on just one aircraft?

well Rafale has twice the number of engines and external weapons stations and internal fuel capacity and almost twice the external load capacity than LCA tejas ....

so please tell me

how they both can be in same class just cause they both are DELTA WING DESIGN and in that too LCA is a tailless compounded cranked high mounted delta wing while Rafale is a double delta or classical delta wing design with a set of delta shaped carnards upfront in easy language

LCA was made as a LIGHT Interceptor that can do light strike roles if need arises to replace aging russian mig21 and Mig27s of IAF ............ while Rafale was designed as a replacement for a medium wieght ground strike fighter that can also perform air to air interception and electronic warfare and jaaming roles in a single sortie without any software or hardware changes to replace entire fleets of french Mirage 2000 in frencg airforce and french navy

Tell that to your compatriot who is claiming your might pejus is in the same class at Rafale, Eurofigher etc just because they have a "delta" wing

Really?1 The JF-17 uses a cropped mid-mounted delta wing with large LERX, a similar configuration as the F/A-18E/F Super hornet. So I guess using your "logic", that means neither the Super Hornet nor JF-17 are "fourth" gen aircraft then?

well even the so called suppar duppar J10 or SAAB JAS GRIPPEN single engine DELTA wing WITH cARNARDS JUST LIKE 4.5 gen dassault Rafale or Eurofighter typhoon too are DELTA WING with Carnards WHAT DOSE IT TELLS YOU ABOUT NEW DESIGN PHILOSOFY ??????

you cannot compare a metal frame JF17 with Russian RD93 engine Joint Chinese Fighter with LCA Tejas just cause both are light and single engine fighters cause


JF17 has to replace all Mirage III and Mirage IV and F7 And even F16 older blocks of PAF and do all kinds of homeland security and offensie roles against arch enemy india

while LCA tejas was to replace Mig21 & Mig27 fleet and for role as a light Interceptor/escort fighter to fight any enemy fighter if it ever comes inside indian air space like a goalkeeper

besides that LCA since its frist flight in jan2001 is tested & retested with & even in MK1 format has qudrapell DIGITAL FLY BY WIRE and has CARBON COMPOSITES 45% in its bodywieght and 99% in skin area with DIGITAL & high capacity DATABUS based mission compouters with unified onboard EW suits ...... things JF17 is now testing and trying to incorporate in its BLOCK III verssion only ...SO HOW CAN ANY SANE PERSON COMPARE 4TH GEN LCA WITH 17th GEN thunder ???????

well comparing JF17 with F/A 18 hornet just cause both have mid mountd so called LERX is like my dadas old type 1 suzuki is simmilar to mini cooper cause both were sedans with fron wheel drive
