No country has its own end-to-end chip manufacturing capability Brother. . The key bottlenecks are Lithography machines (Holland) and Imaging (Japan). If china can even create a mid one over the next couple of years that would be an incredible achievement. It would also spell the end of Western hegemony. As someone who wants economic stability and peace l'd rather countries collaborate instead. Because this is going to end disastrously one way or another. Healthy competition is always good. But the US sows chaos to prevent others thinking.
