The AH-64E Apache that was stranded at very high altitude after an emergency landing, has been retrieved, almost piece by piece. The fuselage was also recovered and transported by truck finally.

In very important news, IAF placed orders for 200 Astra Mk1 missiles and Astra Mk2 trials are to be completed soon. This was from a shareholders guidance call.

Yes, seems the damage is so severe they cannot repair it in situ, and at that altitude the Chinook's performance takes a hit so maybe it cannot be carried away as a slung load. Gut feeling is after 4 months it is a write off.

It has now been retrieved and heading to BRD for repairs. Pics shows barely any damage.
