The number is one thing.
The Yield of each and of the total another,
How the warheads can be thrown to the ennemy a third.

Most of India's nuclear warheads are dedicated to equipping larger missiles, and the majority of our nukes are canisterized. Unlike some countries that rely on sub-kiloton tactical nukes to stop armored columns from invading their territory, any use of such small tactical nukes against our armored columns would provoke a disproportionate and devastating response. We wouldn't hesitate to unleash our more powerful nukes to obliterate that country once and for all. This is precisely what our nuclear doctrine dictates. Against our larger adversaries, we now boast MIRV-capable missiles and maintain four active SSBNs armed with live nuclear missiles (K4/K5) on deterrent patrols.

So now we have more nuclear devices than Pakistan....

We have arch enemies - china and pakistan.

We have variety of older to latest missiles to carry them mostly, than comes airforce and last - navy

More bs unsubstantiated news. These western sources only offer speculation. Knowing how much nuclear fuel a country offers the best estimate but that is difficult to know. Pakistan is and has been for decades significantly ahead of India in nuclear stockpile based on most sources we have.

As you said, it's difficult to know, even people are not sure if india was having less nuclear bombs previously compared to Pakistan, everything was based on this site only that caught by other sources. As per understanding, india had capability to make more than 200 nuclear bombs previously.

No one can confirm that how many actual bombs made by india expect government officials... India mostly focus on plutonium based bombs since we have sufficient material for the bombs - more than 1000.

Pakistan is building far more powerful weapons something which was reported widely in 2019 , which do require more resources, hence a lull in the production rate. They're linked to larger ballistic missiles able to obliterate larger sections of land mass as opposed to just damaging cities.

Looks like our yield and usage range is much broader than India's.

They said new type, not more powerful. Its a well known thing that Pakistan has more diverse types of warheads in a number of roles. India has only strategic yield warheads for deterrence role.

You should be well aware any big nukes being fired in Asia will return in nukes heading to you

Has been for years. Pakistan’s nuclear capability is versatile, various sizes and methods of deployment.
