Iran has requested the Pakistan Air Force to provide training for its fighter pilots!

I hope you do understand that your Air Force is not what it used to be during the Shah's era. Today it is the most vulnerable AF in the whole region. Your missiles alone are not enough to win any war. The sooner you realize it the better.
People like him are not patriots rather fools that will bring down our nation.

Same fake nonsense pride that has made such a great nation grapple with mullah nonsense for 45 years.

Iran can solve lot of pakistani problems, Pakistan can solve lot of iranian problems, lack of trust and courage to move in that direction is obstacle to be removed.
Unity in moments like this are more than necessary. Israel is determined to put on their knees every muslim around the Middle East and beyond. So whatever initiative to help and show unity between muslims are welcome. And this is said by someone that is not muslim. You are being all chased. Check last speech of one of the US candidates.
Start by the IRIAF and continue by whatever way you can image. Hard times is waiting to all of you.

Iran should opt for JF-17 thunder block 3 to replace some of their older jets. They desperately need better BVR and avionics, which the JF-17 Block 3 offers. They didn’t now here they are to fight modern wars with Missiles and kamikaze drones.
Man USA does not allow Pakistan to buy gas from Iran, let alone selling aircraft to Iran.

Problem is not on Iranian side. Iran can invest heavily in Pakistani airforce program like we did with F-14. Shah literally saved Tomcat from being thrown away because of budget problems in USAF.

Pakistan still cares about what USA dictates, at least, its army leaders and governments do so.

Sir, the Iranians are not looking so smart now, would they be better off with a reasonable air force versus some missiles, well you will have your views

Where is this Iranian guile and cunning

No really, tell me actually, for irabs sake

Israel will have many more tricks
Well Iranians are very smart, they have taken the war to Israel and the whole world , other than few Zion controlled ones, hate Israel.

Honestly, if anyone wants to market anything to the Iranian Air Force, it should be a turboprop close air support (CAS) and counterinsurgency (COIN) attack aircraft, similar to the A-29/EMB-314.

IMO, the Iranian Air Force will have a hard time getting a proper fast jet, and domestic politics are as much of a blocker (if not more) than sanctions.

Nothing should've stopped them from buying Russian fighters, or - I daresay - developing their own with covert Russian help. Something's been stopping them and, IMO, it's been the IRGC.

If the IRGC wanted fighter aircraft for its own, it'll get them without nearly as many problems as the Iranian Air Force is having...
Looks like you are not familiar with Iranian armed forces. Ir. Army and IRGC receive similar budgets. Except, IRGC is active in civilian activities.

Moreover, IRGC has nothing to do with army's foreign purchases. Army is independent from IRGC, they imported S-300 from Russia.

Problem with IRIAF is deeper than that. IRIAF had local plans such Shafaq program. Russians left the program and it was abandoned.

IRIAF will rise again, in this case, with locally built platforms. They hardly work to have a local turbofan engine, light and heavy versions. Whenever the subsystems are prepared, IRIAF will introduce its own Platform.

Pakistan gifted 2 planes to Iran, and few to Egypt and other nations. Some of them nations later on came back with orders.
Maybe we should started gifting JF17 block 1s and block 2s?

I don't want to minimise, but they have no choice

This Hezbollah incident makes them look not so good, plus the recent hits they have green
Taken

But they are up against it

I don't know how Iranians were successful in finally putting their ego aside and asking help from Pakistan, but I think it's too late. Iran should have contracted Pakistan (through china) for JF-17 block 3. That why, not only it would have acquired a modern aircraft after many decades, but would have also received training, exercises, and equipments/manpower in case of emergencies.

Even China and Russia cannot sell/gift advance weapons to Iran, never mind Pakistan. Russia is the biggest ally of Iran but does not dare to sell s400 or su35s, or China selling J10s. The allies are powerful, otherwise Russia would sell advance equipment to Iran as the west donating everything to Ukraine. Iran needs advance airforce, advance ballistic and cruise missile arsenal, submarines, destroyers in order to protect themselves.

Didn't Russia give s300

Had a look into this a bit more - Iran did make a move to buy J10As after China-Iran signed a $400billlion investment deal, The deal got stuck on payment issues. Iran needed barter due to foreign exchange issues, China wanted hard cash up front. Given the $400billion deal, you would have thought Chinat would have wanted Iran to be able to defend those investments properly ??? Oh well ...

Then you can go through China for Jf17 if you think Pakistan will not sell it you this fighter. My point still stands Iran seriously needs to modernise and strengthen its air force.

This eventual scenario is not good for Pakistan, I see Pakistan again finding itself between the rock and hard place.

If this happens then Pakistan would be on horn of dilemma similar to Afghan war .....

We do not have such Regional & International clout but in our own national interests we must try to delay such eventual events as much as possible.
Yes , Pakistan is trying her best . Iranian ingrates won't acknowledge it .....they want Pakistan to go to war with America and Israel ,
