Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

There's no last minute peace deal.

Possibly Iran has hit the Kurdish insurgents so hard last night that they have told Trump they wouldn't launch their ground operations, or Trump needs more time to coordinate his attack for another shock and awe.

The attack is certain in my opinion. Both Trump and Netanyahu have agreed on this.

I don´t think for a second the air campaign against Iran, if agreed to by those 2, would depend on the terrorists in Northern Iraq. If they were such an important element of toppling the government, they would have been better protected. That's what I think.

Their numbers just aren't there.

What makes you think Iran are surrendering?

Give them credit where it is due. Iran is reviewing the proposal while simultaneously launching drone strikes in Erbil and Kuwait. They may have been passive at first, but they have clearly raised the stakes and showed more initiative to strike first. Ultimately, even a massive military campaign by Trump won't reopen the Strait of Hormuz. He needs to accept that he is backed into a submission, and he is not breaking this arm lock.
Even those reformists knows that Irán will never be back being the Islamic Republic.
So, we must conclude Irán is earning more time for nuclear weapons.

5K-10K is large enough to cause distraction, particularly if the nature of this distraction is separatism. They want to stretch our forces thin. It's not that hard to understand how they can be useful.

Kurdistan of Iran temporarily fell to the hands of the separatists during the Iraq-Iran war, even though they were not even half as powerful as they're now, and it was a major distraction for our forces, even though both the Iraqis and the Kurds were fighting us in the west of the country. Now imagine the US attacks us from the south and the Kurds distract us in the west.

The US has gathered around 50K forces. They won't attack us from only one direction with barely 50K forces.

I agree, but this war is different than that war. That was a full on land/air war. Mostly land. This is a missile-war, if we can call it that. The US hasn't gathered 50k infantry or something, it's their total force posture as I understand. Meaning the full amount of troops officialy in the region, at the beginning of the war. That includes all of those troops from abandoned bases in hotels etc.

In any case yeah 50k troops means about 15-20k infantry/fighters and the rest is logistics and support.

But I concur they can cause a (major) distraction. But in this day and age, I don't think Iran can freely have large amounts of soldiers walk around or group up freely. They can be easy targets, especially in the Western parts of the country. So this would (I hope if they are prepared) an FPV type of ground war, where Iranian government forces (lets call them that, including police etc. probably) that will handle any incursion.

But I still think a ground incursion by any forces, whether puppets or the US itself, would only happen after the Iranian central government is sufficiently weakened in that it can't respond in a large manner anymore.

I saw satanyahu a few days ago talking about Hormuz isn't that important, we can 'bypass it' by pipelines through Isn'nreal lol. That means imo that they conceded Hormuz control to Iran in their strategic thinking.

The reformists and pragmatists continue to sell the country to America! No strikes tonight while they try to convince Trump to buy their country

They are not fuc...g each other intensively in their gays bars. Hence they may be working on the next Iran attack OR they do so directly in the White House !

And I think the pinpoint precision strikes on Jordan had a lot to do with it as well. They keep calculating and re-calculating. I have a hunch they had no plan B. This was a plan A thing and if Hormuz didn't happen, they would just sit back relax and mow the lawn every once and then.

I genuinely think it's just a few people in the US, maybe 5-6 people, who do all the decision making. Of course the powers that be behind the scenes. Thats why you see this haphazard way of decisionmaking.

IL red alert and Axios are NOT neutral and reliable ........
USA always does the same before real attack against Iran.

A lot of false imminent attacks, well staged with real movements.

It's like they are saying: we want big real bombs from you, prepare yourself.

The target is to destabilize the zone, it's not to win the war, that's the reason because USA warns so many times before real attack. Although maybe internally they say it's to see Iran movements before attacks.

In last war. Bibi meeting to Trump was 17 days before war. So next real war must be around Aug 14th (July 28th, last Bibi visit to whitehouse, + 17 days)
