Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Why do you all underestimate America and Trump so much? Frankly speaking, everything is going according to America's plan. Israel and America routinely employ a strategy of repeated surprise attacks and ceasefires to weaken the will to fight in their target countries, gradually invading and destroying them. Iraq was trapped in a decade-long loop of bombing → ceasefire → blockade → negotiations, and was eventually conquered. Syria, too, was slowly eroded and collapsed through a loop of war, negotiation, and sanctions. Why don't you realize that Iran is following the exact same path? Why can't you understand that ceasefires are a time to prevent Iranian retaliation and allow America and Israel to prepare for the next surprise attack?
It goes both ways: these ceasefire and talks gives BOTH sides the chance to “re-arm/re-fuel” and address their vulnerabilities.

Can Iran take out the blockade of USN???
I don't think they even have to. Ships are still able to leave the strait despite the blockade.

"The bullshit tactic of Israel supporters is to pretend the bad parts of Israel are due to Netanyahu, so that once he's gone, everyone can and should go back to loving Israel.

Netanyahu is fully representative of Israel. That's why he's been in power 19 years. What comes after him will be more sociopathic. Netanyahu is the by-product of the evils of that country, not the cause."

Glenn Greenwald, as usual, is spot on.

Bibi isn't reviled by lots of Israelis because he is committing perpetual war crimes and genocide, rather he is disliked because he is not efficient enough at carrying out those tasks.

Annual transportation is not going to keep a country alive when its currency is on the verge of entering hyperinflation and there's no clear vision for getting out of this situation. Food prices have increased by 60% since the beginning of the US military operation in Iran. 60% increase in less than 60 days! Rent is already 100% more expensive than the same time in last year. Iran's economy was already collapsing before the war and an economic blockade is the last nail in the coffin.

And what makes you think that there will be no boots on the ground? Do you think the US is accumulating tens of thousands of soldiers in the south of Iran for fun? The southern countries of the Persian Gulf are not such a fun and entertaining place to be in May. Even most of their tourist attractions close in May.
Russia also fell into vicious inflation at the beginning. As long as you have resources, why should you be afraid of inflation? Taking a step back, why do you think the Chinese government will not provide loans to Iran?

Standard western copium explainer article - "it's the shias who are pissed".

Actually, everyone is pissed.

USA will be forcibly weaned from its zio-narco lifestyle sooner or later. This would be a win for the whole world, not just shias.

This war is very similar to 2006' war between Hezbollah and IDF, when Hezbollah cemented its status as most powerful non state player in the world...

But on much bigger scale...

Iran unprecedented winner in narrative war...and political most important victory...

And also Hezbollah's experience and later mistake...but nowadays Trump gave them new wings...

Whatever the US could do it’s already tried doin it no? Over the 40 day war.

Irans come out of it victorious.

No US boots on da ground = No US victory

Ceasefires actually play right into America's hands. Iran is never going to "beat" the U.S. in a straight-up war anyway; the whole point is to use this conflict to shake American hegemony and force them to rethink their aggressive stance toward Iran.

If Iran keeps flipping back and forth on a ceasefire now, all those undecided countries will think Iran is weak-willed and run straight back to the U.S. If that happens, Iran's strategic goals will be pretty much dead in the water.
