All universities are full of young students. After all, the age range of students is generally from 18 to 30. And in most cases, 18 to 25.

Sharif University has always been one of the most religious universities in Iran. And it has always been targeted by selective quotas and politicians sending their kids there.

The iron rule of warfare is that to fight a giant enemy, you must draw them into close combat.
Sitting idly by means nothing but waiting for countless bombs to rain down from the sky, turning all of Iran into scorched earth.
Iran should actively engage in ground warfare in Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria.
If we lose this war, Iran will be torn apart into small states, ending Persia's millennia-old history.
If we don't fight when our homeland is in peril, what is the army for?
Do we accept the slaughter of our citizens and the dissolution of our nation simply because we don't want to suffer casualties?
We must fight as close to the enemy as possible, depleting the resources the US military needs to conduct strategic bombing from the rear.
Both Hezbollah and Hamas retreated out of fear of ground combat, only to be forced into surrender by indiscriminate bombing.
Trump undoubtedly wants the same outcome.

The issue is why no one gamed these things out before hand.....why?
Why wasn't there a war game scenario played out....hour by hour, and then written down in a folder how the enemy might attack, and what we can do to blunt the impact of those attacks? One folder for every plausible scenario.
Then a plan of action penned to minimize or mitigate said attacks.
This is where the failures were....I already know the answers, because we the old man had appointed 65-70 yr olds to key leadership positions....men with no energy, no hunger for outsmarting the enemy, I dare say no vision....like the Airforce guy that they retired, or Salami that was more comic relief than a military leader......these failures cost lives and let the enemy think they can bomb us with impunity.

How can we be sure that an American strike is inevitable?

1- Transferring American military assets to the region is an expensive matter, and Trump is an economic man.
He will certainly not be satisfied with an agreement that gives Iran even a small amount of victory

2- A valuable opportunity for Israel that may not be repeated

3- Trump wants to brag to the world about the power of the United States, especially in front of China.
He has a visit to China in April and wants to appear strong and in control of the world.

I think it may even happen this weekend, USA jew tactic to fool the Iranians with last ditched attempts to negotiate.

Trumpy has decided, he will attack.

Iran has plenty of warning now, I hope they prevail over any aggression.

I'm going on record..............I know every single clue is pointing to an attack, but I think this was Hegseth being an eager beaver and trying to cover every base, so we don't ridicule him if Trump gave him to green light to go, and things don't go favorably.

Saudi Arabia has been even more strict against pluralism and even more theocratic than Iran and there is a decades long history to back that up, even if Saudi Arabia is only now opening up a little bit.
The punishing sanctions on Iran for nearly half a century along with perpetual threat of war on Iran have been the main factors affecting Iran, otherwise there are plenty of 'corrupt', 'repressive' and 'inefficient' economies in the world doing okay.
There are good examples of the so-called 'authoritarian' regimes doing fairly better than the so-called 'democratic' countries.
Don't fall for the hogwash of the Western narrative.

Firstly, unlike Saudi Arabia, democracy movements in Iran date back to the beginning of the 19th century, nearly two centuries ago. The Persian revolution successfully replaced absolute monarchy in Iran in 1905, even before the Russians. So, you are talking about completely different nations with different histories and values.

Secondly, your average Saudi, at least in large cities of Saudi Arabia, enjoys relative prosperity and high salaries. Your average Iranian struggles to make ends meet even for his basic needs, has no access to international markets and feels stuck in a hell. Average salary in Saudi Arabia hovers around $2,700 for Saudi citizens. In Tehran, average salary is about $154. Minimum full-time salary is about $80 per month now. See the difference?

Thirdly, Bin Salman saved Saudi Arabia from the same fate. He revolutionized the country before the youth in the country start to riot against them. He legalized women's driving, opened the country to foreigners, improved the public image of Saudi Arabia in the world by huge investments in tourism, etc. The Ayatollahs have resisted all of these changes and even killed thousands of teenagers over a piece of headscarf.

Iranians would welcome similar changes in Iran for sure but the regime is unwilling to make any sort of change until it's too late.

Not at all.....he was saying they're confused as to why Iran has not capitulated.....which to me means they never thought Iran would stay defiant in the face of so much firepower.
And this could lead to rethinking of the whole operation if it could mean Iran sets the ME's energy hub on fire.
Translation= Pause till we figure this out......are we sure we want to do this? Is it absolutely necessary to our goal of no nuclear weapons?
Now, think like an American....do you need the hassle? Near 3% enrichment, with no sunset...and diluting the 60% down to 20% for some token sanction relief......US can declare that they got a better deal than Obama.
If you ask me this is what they were looking for from the beginning, this was all theater, and perhaps a gamble to see if they can scare the crap out of Iran and getting a super deal, rather than just a good deal.
